On Halo 5 Ive been getting serious lag in arena and warzone since ive bought this game on day one. My ISP is comcast. I have 40 down and 12 up, 69 latency and 0% packet loss. All my other games work fine. I disabled upnp and did the port forwarding. Ive restarted console and router multiple times. Ive even deleted the game and re-installed. Nothing seems to work. I’m curious if anyone else is having similar problems besides the obvious twc customers? My friends with comcast say they arent having any problems with halo 5. I just want to figure out the problem,so i can play some halo.
Do you know what your lowest average ping to google is? Chances are that the dedicated halo server is located at the same data centre. I normally trace route google, to check my pings before going online. I do this to simply check for congestion between my local exchange and equinix Sydney.
