Multiplayer is Not Allowed

Whenever I try to enter a multiplayer game, it tells me “Multiplayer is Not Allowed. The Multiplayer feature is blocked due to your Xbox Live settings. Please make sure you have the correct Xbox Live account and your Family Settings are turned off.” I’ve changed the settings countless times, as well as restarting my Xbox. Quitting the game doesn’t help, and neither does repeatedly pressing A or waiting. I have been able to play Multiplayer games before, but now I can’t due to this glitch.

From the Xbox dashboard, go to settings, disk, and select the blue ray option, clear your persistent storage, then hold the xbox power button for 15 seconds. When it starts back up, it will go to the stock xbox screen and then load your profile. Try to join a game after that.

It is now Halloween 2017 and this issue still persists, me being one of these people

But if I do as this suggestion says, won’t that clear off all data from my One?

My girlfriend likes to do co-op with me sometimes, and I get this every time she signs in as a guest on my account.

Didn’t worked for me… I was away from MCC and come back to this terrible deception…

Just tried to play multiplayer matchmaking with a guest. Got this message. Tried the reset. Tried switching privacy settings, and nothing works ti fix it. Ive been playing MCC since the beginning, how is this still an issue?!?!?!?!

I’m having the same problem, I spent over an hour with microsoft tech support. This is super frustrating and it needs to be fixed.

I’ve talked with 10 different techs, one who is great and literally ran through every option available to mankind, tried port forwarding and everything, still nothing. At this point playstation seems like a better option. Thanks 343 for all the stuff you do…

I’m now on my 2nd Xbox one and I’m still getting this error. I can’t even get a search playing solo. This has been going on for 2 years on my account and haven’t found a way around it. If I “Quit” out 5-10 times sometimes it will work, but usually not. There are random times I’ll sign on and it’ll actually be working fine so that’s when I play halo. Other than that I just don’t play because 343 is trash and their employees are incompetent.

Just ran into this today, fingers crossed for the spring update.

The problem for me is that it’s not just the MCC, Reach and 5 are also not allowing me to play multiplayer, what is the deal?!

343!! Give us a response!!

Just tried to log in and came across this issue… WHY CAN’T HALO BE LIKE THE OLD DAYS

This just started happening to me and it only happens when I try to bring a guest profile with me. What gives?

HEY EVERYBODY!! I THINK I HAVE THE SOLUTION!!

So eventually I just got so fed up with this, that I decided to reset my console to its factory settings. After I did that, I had to update it. I then signed back into my account, and everything was back to normal. Give this a shot!

Also, this is just an idea, but I kinda feel like it may be due to switching the turn on settings constantly. That’s just what I did a lot, and it seemed like my system had some issues with it, mainly in relation to the settings the two options meant.

Tried it, and it worked, wooh.

Mcc is like the only Halo multiplayer game I play. At least it used to be

Is anyone else having issues with getting on halo multiplayer.

Thank you! This worked!
