I have just attempted to find a multiplayer game to join (I’ve been trying since Tuesday and have had a 100% fail rate). I now get a different error, it says “Multiplayer is not allowed” The multiplayer feature is blocked due to your Xbox Live settings. Please make sure you have the correct Xbox Live account and your Family Settings are turned off.
I have made no changes to my account in months and I am using the correct account and family settings are turned off. This seems to be a turn for the worse in functionality, I hope that this is just something that needs to be done to get things fixed once for all?
I wonder if anyone else is having this issue or is it just me?
One last thing, 343 I have faith, I continue to look forward to having my first online match some time soon.
I have an update for everyone who has taken the time to look here.
It would seem that I was missing an update, it has been installed and now everything is as it was. I still can’t find a game but at least I can look.
So if anyone else is having the same trouble as me just force quit the game and restart it to kick off the update.
Keep trying, since launch I have only played about 10 matches, but every single one has been incredible. Follow the thing where if you can’t find one after 5 minutes back all the way out to the main menu then jump back in and reset the search.
Goodluck, keep the faith
Thanks for the encouragement Zzzonked, I am happy to report that after getting into a game, which then crashed out for some reason, I was able to grab a game of regicide. I can now die happy, I’m liking the “record that” action on the One.
This game was a cash grab and should had been delayed. There is no reason why a game should be released this broken. I don’t understand it. I already got a refund for my copy because its a beta, not an actual game.
question for you I’ve tried a hard reset I’ve tried unplugging my Xbox I’ve tried un-installing and reinstalling it and I haven’t been able to find this magical update any suggestions as to how I could force the issue?
