7 quick play matches. 6 of them with a ping between 120 and 200. It was pure luck when I landed a shot, I was teleporting around the map due to lagging or server issues or whatever.
But that one match with a stable connection (between 30 and 80 ping) was fun. I am in Europe and we don’t have that bad of a internet connection here. But this is the main reason why I don’t want to spend money on this game, as fun as it can be sometimes. Not for the battle pass, not for cosmetics and also not for the campaign.
I also won’t buy a car, that only drives one day in a week.

We’ve found the same with multiplayer. There are three of us in this household that wanted to fireteam up but the multiplayer system hasn’t yet been able to connect us all in ANY multiplayer game, not once.
Though the multiplayer game is free to play, it does seem that their business model is driven by making money (ie in game purchases and the promise that the campaign will be the next great thing) though it seems it’s at the sacrifice of the actual game.
Developers like this, given the symptomatic evidence of how the game is functioning (as in NOT functioning very well at all in so many aspects) have lost their way in my opinion. They’re driven by how much they can make from every facet of the “game” and not actually providing a game for players to actually play.
It’s similar in the film industry isn’t it? They’ve run out of ideas so they churn out utter rubbish to look attractive on face value, but actually deliver a massive disappointment.
I loved Halo, I still want to… but sadly I’m developing a resignation to disliking it a great deal, as are my fellow gamers.
Sorry but we’re out and won’t be playing this tat anymore, or paying for campaign given the debacle thus far.

I’m just going to lock this now. 343 is has repeatedly said they’re investigating server and connectivity issues as well as other community members voicing difficulties with connecting to games. There is no feedback being given here, just ranting.
