I do understand that everyone is tied down by the story mode right now, and thats fine, but for us who are done the story and trying to play multiplayer we are being hit with roadblocks everywhere.
Btb is unplayable, it will not connect me to a game no matter how long i wait or try to connect, and if i do get a match its a 2v1 instead of 12v12, quickplay only works 50% of the time and ranked is in the same boat as btb, unplayable.
How is this possible?? Why are the servers acting like its the flight all over again?
People need to start talking about this because right now everyone is too busy with the campaign to notice it, these servers should not be in this state

Was talking about it last night but know one seems to care. 343 hunt even acknowledged their is a problem.

How is this something thats swept under the rug??? The game is unplayable right now!! And the only word we get is from some random employee going “yeah there is an issue we know” we should be getting a post thats like “yeah we understand and are fixing it as we speak”

I know BTB servers/connection issues are being looked at by 343, can’t say I’ve had your same experience in Quick Play though, what region are you in?
North america, east coast.
Been having these problems since late into the day yesterday, i noticed when my btb match kicked out 98% of the lobby

Tbh to me that honestly just sounds like you’re getting upset about semantics and word choice. They’re obviously working on fixing whatever the issue is. Don’t get hung up on the means of communication.
I’m in the same server region, curious why you’re having issues in arena as well. Did you submit a ticket?

And yeah what you said might be right, they are obv fixing it, its just that 343 is not good at all at communicating more then the bare minimum, would just have more confidence in the issue being fixed if it was actually addressed at a proper level instead of some tweet from a 343 employee
This is some tinfoil hat shot for sure but i can see where its coming from.
I do believe the game will be fixed and be more atune to what we believed would launch after say like a year, trust me i hate knowing that, i hate repeating the same cycle again that we did with halo 5 after they PROMISED US it would never happen again, at this point im considering dropping the game all together until some actual progress is made on the game

How is that different? I mean seriously im asking why you think its different. I do know why it is and it is a problem.because not everyone has time to watch their responses and it should have a please be patient news feed on start up but not because you think the other website thats not the game itself should restate what you clearly are saying has been aknowledged in a live stream. Because the only place developers should be communicating with players about problems being aknowledged is in the update feed and anything not stated there shouldnt be considered their official response as they can legally seperate themselves from that source. So i cant tell how you think the guy saying it is not exactly what your asking for neither would be official in any legally important way. And neither helps people who didnt randomly see one as it wasnt in the game before they encountered it.
Many people have been talking about issues in multiplayer your just uhh, late to the party. I’ve gotten bored with this game and probably won’t be playing till tuesday when the challenges reset…
Same here every time I try to play BTB there’s like a 5% chance I’ll get into the match most of the time my connection gets dropped.
About time someone say something. Players are leaving Halo Infinite at an alarming rate and some of these players won’t come back. They have to make a statement about this faster and fix it.
I’m not the one losing millions here and I’m astounded.

while we should talk we believe some similar things you clearly are under the illusion you can trust the sourcing on that date, and i assure you halo wont live ten years at this pace. And i am a hard stan for it but this kind of marketing wasnt deliberate it was braindead. Someone convinced them that seperating usability would drive sales but im not buying anything red or blue cause it has to be free to fix game and im not buying anything that isnt going to work on everything. So nothing moving forward thats incopatible with the samurai frame… .this isnt conspiracy its complete failure at understanding the product they make. Because people with marketing degrees seem not to have played a game they wrote policy on. Guess common sense isnt required in business decisions these days, and that may well be part of your idea of what will happen but its irelevant, cause if you can understand it. It isnt their plan. Its the distraction. You wont see what happens coming and they wont either because they really dont have anything to offer their hired soldiers as payment after its done that they couldnt just take anyway. And we will be dead or at the mercy of mercenaries. Fun stuff feel free to remove post mods it is understandably dark like your games future i hope for your sakes he is right and your not hopeless.

I’ve been talking about this since week 1, but it get buried under the self important copy paste posts about progression/monetization/customization.
Players forget, when gameplay is broken people will stop playing the game. But their optional cosmetics are just sooooooooooo important.
Maybe I’m lucky because I haven’t had a single issue except one match with bad hit registration since the first flight, and once on launch day.
People focus on what they care about, its a blessing and curse, servers though are this games #1 issue and people are going to start noticing really quickly
I made it more clear in my response post, i feel more confident in 343 when they can fully address an issue to the whole community on their own platforms, and not to provide the bare minimum response to everything like they tend to do, maybe some update on why the games broken or something? The “we hear you” or “we know we are discussing it” need to go in the bin and we need some actual statements and responses similar to ske7chs but not as bad as that one

Look, it seems to me that they just don’t want us playing Halo anymore. I won’t sit around waiting for them to fix things. So I will oblige them.
The Halo Support did make a tweet that the team is aware of the problems with BTB. I would not expect a Community update post for every issue that arrises.

I haven’t had difficulty joining games yet but I have gotten into game modes and been dealing with some severe warping where I would run 15 ft and then be pulled backwards 15 ft or sometimes I’d run away from a grenade and then get pulled directly back into the grenade I have noticed that happening and it didn’t start happening until the game fully released so I’m not sure what’s going on but 343 definitely needs to look into it and their servers maybe be overloaded due to them having cross play enabled is what I’m guessing I think they need to make it to where you can turn cross play off so whatever platform you on you only connect to others on your platform as that would probably deal with some of the issues
