Multiplayer is Absolute Trash & BTB is Hot Garbage

You too and thanks

Also why the 20 limit?!

spawns are worse than COD

in Infinite you lose aim assist when you jump

This real? I haven’t seen or heard anything regarding this. I know this happens in destiny.

snakebiteFPS did a video on it a few weeks ago

Ah thanks. I’ve stopped jumping, I’ve noticed crouching is far more annoying to deal with.

Is this the same 343 they took seven months to give us an infection playlist in halo five? Is this the same 343 that took nine years to actually give us any control over customization. Is this the same 343 that actually gave us customization that we had 11 years ago. Which ironically happens to be the exact same customization we had 11 years ago.

crouching i think also stabilizes recoil with the auto/ faster firing weapons either that or its a placebo but the ar sure does seem to be able to drop ppl at longer ranges when i crouch fire

I honestly think H4 (on 360) at launch had more customization and better progression than we have in Infinite, H4 had the most playlists too, H5 is where they gutted the game for the HCS style play lists

THIS.

This is why Hundredthousands of people still play Counter Strike, it never changed the core gameplay formula, just some cosmetic stuff.

Imagine they added Sprint into it lol

I’m not even mad at the game, I mean getting killed when you jump behind cover and the spawn locations are scuffed-
But the matchmaking and pre-game lobbies need an overhaul, stat. Stay in the same lobby after a match, can’t find matches, etc.
But they’re still on vacation so I’ll just complain while I’m in my cubicle and they aren’t.

Lolol, why you think everyone leaved h5 multiplayer? Because pretty much all halo fan hated h5, you are in the really low % of people liked h5.

I’d probably place Inifnite tied with Halo 5 in last place in regards to the multiplayer. I found them both to be awful for completely different reasons.

Mind elaborating on the issues? Also welcome to the forums, this was your first post.

Most of them have been beaten into the ground so I won’t ramble on about those (customization /monetization/ lack of content) and I’ll stick with my personal and less common gripes with Infinite.

I found the gunplay/gameplay in MP to be clunky and clumsy. The gun and vehicle spawning seems like a massive step backwards. The maps don’t have a flow to them in a way that was once synonymous with Halo design. There are several stylistic choices that I know are subjective but I just hate as part of the presentation as well such as the friend or foe system, the AI companion, the flat plastic look many of the Spartans and vehicles seem to have. The vehicles feel like they have little to no weight to them and they lack consistency in regards to durability. I could go on but I feel like this is a decent summary.

In regards to 5, it simply NEVER felt like a Halo game to me in any respect. The movement, gunplay, abilities, etc all felt much more akin to Destiny than Halo.

Thank you for the welcome btw @Sir_Boobington

My sentiments as well concerning vehicles. The vehicles honestly haven’t been in a good place since Halo 3.

Reach brought in warthog with paper armour and 343 kept that tradition and expanded on it…

I just merged my other post into this one concerning btb. I can’t believe how bad BTB is right now

You are right but unless a some kind of a paradigm shift happens the suits at the top will never be removed from these companies. These are the same people who exploit 7 year old kids in FIFA and NBA2k which both look more like casinos than sports sims. They have zero interest in gaming, only in making as much money as possible. At this point being a neighborhood heroin dealer is probably more ethical than driving one of these companies.

Peer to peer matchmaking in 2021 blow my mind

That’s because they only look at players as numbers, not as humans.

Looking at the player decline things might change, but it feels 343 is too large of a developer to even engage the fans on a meaningful level.

Just look how bad Ske7ch is and it’s his job. The last time we heard from him was a passive aggressive post on Reddit barely acknowledging the communities plight.
