halo reach multiplayer was awful. the idea of loadouts was a train wreck. i admit is was cool to be able to jet pack around, but armor lock was incredibly nooby. i think the left bumper should be permanent sprint. all other abilities like jet pack and active camo could be picked up in various places in the map, and would replace sprint. if that was the case, instead of them regenerating, the abilities other than sprint would have a 15 second timer… that is enough time for an armor ability to have a balanced use. that way noobs wouldn’t be able to jet pack out of every brawl, or evade every enemy.
the grenade limit should go back to being 4 of both types of grenades
most of the maps in halo 3 had various forms of lifts, weather it was grav lifts, or random things that shot dirt out of the ground. it was convenient, and heightened the awesomeness of a fight.
one feature that would improve vehicle to vehicle combat would be the ability to hijack a vehicle from another vehicle. say you were in a mongoose, and you were the driver, you could dive from the driver’s seat of the mongoose to the driver’s seat of the warthog, grab the driver, throw him out, and assassinate the passenger if there were one…it would spawn epic vehicle battles. this could be done with any open vehicle, not any kind of tank.
