Multiplayer DOESN'T WORK

When I try to join online matchmaking I have an icon that says the game is downloading multiplayer data.It’s been downloading date for the past 3 days! **I CAN’T PLAY:( :frowning: :(**Please help me out.Has anyone else experienced this? Has it eventually came back?I have spent 2 hours so far with microsoft live help and I’ve tried many things… NOTHING WORKS

I wanna play dudes… i need to keep warming up for halo5 my halo dominance days are far behind me and Halo MCC has abandoned me just when I was starting to play for 500… grrrr

We spartans help each other right?

Try to shut down the Xbox, hold down the off button about ten seconds after the screen turns black…
you could also unplug the Xbox and router, leave it unplugged for a few minutes then put it back it and reboot everything.

Just restart your master chief collection it just didn’t sync correctly.

I have tried about 67 things with the xboxlive support and nothing works-_-

does even multiplayer work now? have they fixed it yet? I too want to play online but I’m not paying for gold until i know for sure it’s fixed. someone told it was fixed some months ago, so i went out and bought myself an xbox and of course mcc, because thats the only game I want to play. went online, nope… not fixed yet. haven’t touched my xbox since then. it’s right beside my old vhs player collecting dust together.

I have this problem as well. But you don’t need gold to play online.

i had to uninstall the game and then change nat settings and it worked for me.

I was wondering the same thing. If I remember correctly you will get a Xbox live prompt on MCC if u don’t have gold subscription.

Ever since their recent update its finding matches quickly though it was working well even before the recent update. I have been playing match making since March.

Yes, alot of people have been telling me on the forums that it’s working now. so I dusted off my xbox, bought 1 month gold yesterday and been playing mcc all day :slight_smile: It’s good to finally be able to play halo again. only issue I have with matchmaking for now is that you have to search for new players after every single game, it gets really tedious in the long run

i had the same problem i did what he write and then i plaied halo mp

What i did was delete saved multiplayer data. My data didn’t get deleted, but it reset my multiplayer and it worked since then.
