So I got Halo 5 on launch day, enjoyed the game on launch day as well. No issues at all! However, since a few days after release, I always get lag and connection problems mid-game every time I play online. Whether its Arena or Warzone. When the connection issues occur, other players’ characters run against the wall or any obstacles or even fall to their death (when they really aren’t). This is aggravating because I had no problems launch week and now these issues have been present since last weekend. I am starting to get disappointed in this game as I’ve seen that many others are facing the same issue and some of them are even getting ban hammered for these issues that aren’t even their fault. I know for a fact it’s not my internet connection because every other multiplayer game I own runs fine with no issues, so this is obviously on 343i as this is the only game I am facing issues with currently. The campaign works fine solo (haven’t done co-op yet), the issue only affects multiplayer and after trying again several other days later, the issue is still not resolved, I even hard restarted my console and there was no luck. I and I’m sure many others would like to hear an update on this and when we can expect a patch or a fix, otherwise I’m considering whether or not I should look into another online shooter this fall. Matchmaking and general connection has been great for me compared to previous Halo titles and other games. (Based in Scotland). But when the lag does hit, it’s messy, I always seem to come off the worst. Maybe It’s my connection…
Same thing here, every so often I would be kicked from a game, twice while I was on the winning team in a tank.
This is ridiculous… Reddit and foruns have lot’s of this complaints… This only happens with Halo 5 i can play well all other games…
It’s funny too, with these “dedicated servers”, I didn’t encounter this many lag games in 1000+ halo 4 matches on 360 (I’ve only played 50 halo 5 games lolololol), pathetic if I do say so. My internet is better now too than what it was then, lol. Halo reach was good too. Halo 3 I had issues, but that was due to schools firewall issues - we were able to resolve it eventually.
Has there been a “Fix” found out yet? it’s happening to me too
