OK imagine this: it late really late and you want to play some halo reach invasion customs on some maps that you made all day but there are 2 problems. A: no one is on reach that much in matchmaking anymore and everyone is enjoying halo 5 B: all that do play reach are not on this late which makes you lonely (which includes your friends). This is where the idea comes in…BFC (bots for customs) just imagine what you can do with this, have 4 people split screen but want BTB just add some BFC, want extra buddy’s in firefight or want play as an elite add some BFC’s yous want to see who better you or BFC’s well you can now. The BFC can be the legendary A.I from the campaigns with normal damage on so it not too easy but not too hard. I hope 343 do consider this in the next game halo infinite or add this in M.C.C and reach some time later. Thanks for reading.
I have always wanted this in more games. Totally agree.
Not sure why this is in the Classic Halo Games and not in something like Matchmaking Feeback & Discussions.
Anyways, I would also like to see this in future titles but I doubt they’d add bots in previous titles. I could possibly see them adding it in MCC but I doubt it. A lot of time and effort would have to go into such a thing. My only problem would be that people would ‘farm’ games with bots to get xp/credits in such a mode (if it allowed it).
I’ve often thought that bots would have been great additions in the early years of Halo. I know that the technology simply wasn’t there at the time. When I was younger, I was always comparing Halo: Combat Evolved to Timesplitters 2 which was a crazy fun multiplayer game where you could play against bots and change the difficult level as well. There were tons of characters and levels to unlock so there was plenty to play and learn. If Timesplitters 2 could have done it, why couldn’t have Halo CE and Halo 2 done the same thing?

These bots are only for customs so no XP or credits will be given

That would be a pretty interesting add-on to Halo customs. I think it would be great if we could play against bots in customs or something, and it would definitely be great for offline players that don’t have Xbox Live.
Wouldn’t people freak out and think they were Ghost Players? Also, I think that was originally an idea.
