Me and my buddy were playing a game. Wining by double tickets. All of a sudden we lost the game. Out of nowhere. No one disconnected and no one resigned. We were WINING by double the amount of points :’( has anyone else experienced this?

In the first Halo Wars all Covenant leaders start with a higher unit population. The reason why is your guess, Covenant units are overall a tinge weaker than UNSC units. So the Covenant Units are given higher populations to balance out with sheer numbers instead of raw power.

Hey guys game is great except for a few bugs. It won’t load the game consistently and also ibam currently losing while not being able to do anything. I mean i can’t control the untis move the camera or anything. It says it is waiting for players, but the other team captured Alpha somehow.

Hello good not much English, actually I am using a translator to give my opinion.
Well I liked the fact that translated the beta to Spanish that I appreciate it, and I really like the beta reminds me of the first halo wars while I improve, I would have liked but was a game mode IA vs player or other game besides domain but what I’ve seen still the essence of the first halo wars that I love.
Well I’ll look broken record but I’d really like a lot to put back mode vs. AI game player.
Also do not know if it is the domain mode but would rather be a limit higher than 60 units population is very restrictive.

Honestly?

Captain Cutter is at a supreme disadvantage. His starting unit has a big bad gun, sure. But he can’t get another hog until tech 2 with a garage. Atriox gets 10 to Cutter’s 6, and the hog can’t gather resources but the chopper can. Y’see the problem here? As Atriox I can divide my forces into groups of three, take the first three points and at least one power node with absolutely zero resistance given nobody goes to A, get two mini bases up and running and already have investment in the center mini, and MAYBE if I’ve been working fast, have another outpost built. If I’m perfect, two outposts.

…Cutter can’t do that.

Cutter’s ODSTs and Cyclops are also absolutely no match to the spirit drop. The turret is great! But to defeat one cheaper movement of suicide grunts, you need to drop all three- or have your maxed out drop.

Atriox simply has an advantage.

Now lore wise I get it, it makes plenty of sense- it’s clear that the Banished have been here a while, live here and have built their forces for a very long time. But it’s just as clear that not always, is lore more important than gameplay. Indeed, it never is. Lore should supplement gameplay.

Not hinder it.

Now, are Cutter’s units flat out better? I believe the Hog is certainly superior to the chopper, but not the marauder.

I want to play as Cutter, I really do… But I can’t I just flat out can’t play as him, because Atriox simply gives me a much better early game advantage- and in Domination…?

Early game is EVERYTHING.

I agree, on all points. Especially about the units being the same. 343 needs to spend a few dozen more hours playing the original to see that unique unit balance that made it magic to play. Other than the LB/LT mix up the controls seem pretty good.
Also, it looks like some people disconnect before losing and causes the game to freeze with no waiting for player message or auto win when it is the last player on the team.

Why is the halo download and update taking so long. Im 2 hours into the update and still on 1%!?! By the time i get to ever play the game the beta is going to be freaking closed. Come on 343 please fix this issue

Join game, stuck with “waiting for players” although the game is playing.

The Game always freezes at the opening screen and sometimes in-game, this is a potential game breaker.

I’m stuck in the same boat. Only seems to happen when I’m playing Atriox.

with all updates still the same mistakes ¬¬

Today it kicked out of a game back to the main menu I had just started building a second base and out of nowhere just shows main menu no error message or anything

tried playing again today with the lastest update its making progress now it only freezes and crashes after the start screen.

Wow im still stuck on one percent. Well im done i just lost all interest in 343 industries. I miss bungie. They always made everything run so much smoother compared to 343

I have been trying to play for a fe days and after the 15th try o gave up…never even made it into a game…

When I exit the the controller layout menu, the language setting changes for a little while. Other than that, I haven’t had many issues. Great game, though.

Is anyone else having trouble playing the beta? Says connection lost to server every time I try to play it.
