Try pushing “B” to skip as fast as you can and that usually gets you through.

As a lot of people said often the Beta freezes at the first screen. But in gameplay I had a bug where there was no attack animation, my units and the ennemy units were standing next to each other doing nothing, only the healthbar were moving and getting lower and lower until the units died.
Also to skip the freeze on the first screen when it asks to press A to continue. If I hold the Xbox home button and turn off the controller and then turn it back on, the game will register my button press of A and unfreeze, very weird.
I’ve had a game start up and keep me at a screen saying “waiting for other players” while I’m just looking at my base with the other players actually playing the game.

I played for about 4 hours and noticed a few bugs, not sure if anyone else has but here they are:
- I have to watch tutorial or the game freezes every time I reload the game - My recent players/friends online tab glitches out and stays until the game crashes itself or I force quit it - I’ve entered matches where I cannot do anything because I have a “waiting for players…” message on my screen when the other 3 players are actually playing.Thanks.
Rough edges? more like complete failure of a beta release way to disappoint yet again 343.
im having a problem with the lode screen after the hit start button it will freeze when it starts to lode then i do it again and it freezes again any help?
Back again, this time it froze before the map even loaded. Immediately before that I was in the middle of a match which dropped randomly. I’m about six attempts in and not a single complete game.

Try pressing “B” righy after pressing the start button, best solution untill 343 decide to fix it…
Having a freeze issue on the main menu and when I load into the match. Any hints or advice for fixing the issue would be welcome. Been wanting to play the Beta since I downloaded it.

First time I booted it up it crashed like 3 times in a row
Also troops won’t move around objects all the time and will get stuck
on the map ricoshet if you tell all units to attack enemy base ( or anywhere close to there) they will get stuck by a sniper tower and stay there.

its a beta its ok to be buggy, at least its not the full game
Why use Spanish as fallback instead if English? Seems like a very odd choice.
-Sometimes when I try to load the Beta, the screen freezes on the black intro page, so I have to quit and enter again.
-Some of my units didn’t spawn correctly during one match. I had two hellbringers created, but when they came out, it was just a glowing orange outline of the marines. I couldn’t select them or do anything with them, and there was nothing there but three floating flames where each unit should have been.
Here’s a list of issues I’ve run into from yesterday and today.
- Game freezes upon start up. - Game freezes upon pressing start. - Game freezes when xbox notification is received. (unless I actually manage to get into a match first) - Game freezes when I try to skip opening video. - Game freezes when I try to join friend. - Friend gets stuck in loading screen indefinitely after playing two matches. I’ve seen similar events on the enemy team but not for my self. - There is no grunt birthday party in this beta. - Game crashes when I get to tier 5 in the command point upgrade menu thingy. - Game crashes when friend disconnects from my session. - Unit movement often freezes up when moving in large groups. - Vehicles get stuck in the center of the map when moving in large groups sometimes usually near the rocks. - Selection wheel when building lags and often requires multiple button presses. (could be my slightly damaged controller) - ODST power seems to disappear from time to time. I usually lose it if I build warthogs directly after using the power. It becomes the warthog construction timer. - Unit attacks either don’t appear at all or fire in a total random direction or appear in some random place in the map. Damage is still applied normally thankfully. - Plasma rounds from covies often stick to the sky before disappearing when attacking air targets. - Background video abruptly jumps when sitting in the menu. That’s all I have for now. Its a fun beta when I can actually play it. I usually have to restart it 5-10 times due to the constant freezing. Base destruction game mode would be nice because I often can’t use the armys I build due to points being captured in domination.
The game freezes a lot on startup if stored on an external USB drive. Moving it to the internal drive stopped the load issues for me, so far.
