Speaking of “rough edges”, it seems that HW2 is off to a literal rough “Start.” I press start button on the title screen and it freezes on the Halo Wars 2 logo and goes no further. Anyone else having this issue?
My game had a bug where the “waiting for players” persisted through my game about 1 min into it I couldn’t move or do anything while I watched my partner moving about freely. Now every time I go to play the game I get to the start button, click the start button, and freeze at the black Halo Wars 2 logo and it wont go farther.
One thing that I noticed that I don’t think is a bug just more of a mistake is that someone had a Spartan hijack a marauder and after comandeering it, the other brute just kinda stayed in the vehicle? Not sure if like the brute should magically become a marine or something or maybe the spartan has a quick animation threatening them at gun point and sort of forcing them to work with us or something.
When are they going to fix the freez on start.
you have the possibility to fix it by pressing B right after you press start

Hey everyone! I’ve noticed a lot people are asking the same questions so I wanted to clear up the basics:
To download the Halo Wars 2 Beta just go to the Xbox Store on your home page and in the search bar type in “Halo Wars 2 Beta” - The download is going to take a while so I suggest you let it download while you’re doing something else - The game itself takes a while to load so be patient - If you’re expecting a practice run through against an A.I. then prepare for your feelings to get hurt, it’s all about testing the multiplayer.

So far the animations lag but it’s expected. Only one type of game mode for 2v2. I hope to see some 4v4 if possible.
I got it downloaded and its all working fine accept it wont connect to the server and i’ve tried everything. plz help me or fix it because I really like halo and halo wars was my favorite one out of the entire series.
This bug just started happening to me about my 4th or 5th game, but when I’m in game and my team is winning it keeps telling me tht my team is losing. It happened to me when I was playing with a friend and with a random. I ended up losing one then the other one froze. Has this been happening to anyone else?
Hey there! Started the beta about an hour ago and I’ve been getting this problem where the entire game just freezes either in the middle of a match or as soon as I hit the menu button in the menu. Hope this helps!
