Look uh whoever suggested waiting a minute then to start to play the game instead of the logo freeze glitch it worked for me I skipped tutorial didn’t want to take a chance but it worked and it looked like the tutorial was actually working so I suggest anyone who experience the logo freeze after hitting start to wait a minute as another suggested earlier
I have a few things that you might need to fix the third person camera is too close, the domination game mode points should be a lot higher as game finishes too quick.t Also the commands are a bit tricky too use unlike halo wars 1 they were a lot easier to use it should be the same on this game
Anyone else having the game just freeze on the menu when you get into the game? Cause I am.
Have the standard freezing and locking issues others do,… but I can get around those,… my MAIN problem is when I attempt to find a match it will NOT connect to the Halo Wars 2 online services. Spammed the button for HOURS and only ONCE (out of literally hundreds of attempts both yesterday and today) did I see it say the “Failed to join leader” message,… EVERY other time it just fails to connect to the servers all together. saying “The connection to the online services has been lost” NOT a time out issue as it gives this message INSTANTLY as if not even trying to connect. (yes, checked all internet connections, not the issue)
Also, after about every dozen attempts to connect to servers the panning background graphics become laggy, visibly skipping, at this point hitting the A button becomes unresponsive for a short time until it stabilizes.
Launch the game and black screen for 1min30 : / and the game bug i debut the game and back on menu heyyyyyy
just played a match as covenant they have a lot of animations missing more than unsc. limited explosions no bullets or shots actually appear in a fight and overall graphics need a touch up. to cartoon like. music and sound effect are spot on halo games always have good qaulity sound. and cinematics are really good cutscenes at E3 not in the beta because there are’nt any in beta.
Since nobody here is posting actual bugs they find, they are just complaining. I have a bug to report, for the 5th game now, after adding all the buildigs to my main base, and sending my troops somewhere, my game freezes
camera angles are terrible you cant zoom in close enough to make it appear 1st person like total war games do. And you cant select a point on mini map to quickly checkout a location. also cant zoom out enough to make it a straight down shot of the map. Its sort of at a 70° angle most of the time. the skill tree looks really good though like that. I have to compare it to something I uderstand its a beta and its own game but there are other RTS games I prefer and I can only compare to what I have played.
Usually freezes for me right after I hit start at the main menu. Also, once a game has started, sometimes it freezes then.
Im hoping it takes some ideas from STAR WARS EMPIRE at WAR. fantastic game even now. planet conquering, space battle. These doors are open especially in the halo ‘UNIVERSE’!! lets hope…
I have downloaded it, but the game crashes, I either get a black screen, or the start menu freezes, it just wont launch beyond pressing start, but it took me about 9 hours and waiting all night so I don’t really want to have too re install it
My biggest issue is getting stuck on this stupid waiting for players thing though the game is still going on.
Io porto alcuni bug grafici, per spostare un po 'vedere la base scompare completamente o il terreno sottostante scompare per qualche secondo. Ho anche portare che per l’inizio del gioco per qualche secondo che il gioco va avanti, ma strutture Lei / lui / lei non può essere costruita perché la ruota della base e inceppata
I’m like the biggest XBOX / HALO fan there is and between the Master Chief Collection and Halo wars 2 not working at all I am done defending this company. I can’t even get onto halo wars 2 I just set here 2 hours waiting for the download to finish because of slow servers and now the game doesn’t even work. I got so hyped over E3 texted all of my friends about it and now this. I’m DONE.
Who are you guys kidding this isn’t a BETA this is a PRE-ALPHA stop releasing games before they are finished get your -Yoink- together! It freezes at the start screen every time I can’t even get to the menu.
Finally downloaded the beta but it won’t get any further than the “Finding a team” screen. It constantly freezes up. Any suggestions? I NEED to play Halo Wars 2!!!
Waiting for players… screen has been bugged out for 4 minutes, my allies base has been destroyed by presumptive NPCs, and everyone cannot move.

This game is unplayable it freezes up after you press start.
