Multiplayer Awesome sauce!

Now these are some aditional add-ons for multiplayer that I would like to see in Halo 4, also my english is sort of bad…Also if you read this PLEASE leave feedback in the comment section below.

Oh where to start…

ANTI-ANTI VERBAL COMMUNITY

Ok, so let’s say you are playing with a team of randoms and the have no mics and some others are in party chat. In my multiplayer experiences in Halo: Reach and Halo 3, I have learned that good teamwork can be a CRUCIAL part in defeating your opponents. So what if your character was able to call out to your teammates? This is sort of like the “voice” button in Left 4 dead 2, but different (Sorta’). When you want your teammate to follow you can just point at you’re teammate and press up on the D-pad and your spartan will say “Hey follow me!” or down on it will make the spartan say “I got you’re six!”.

Only the player you point at will hear the callout. Once you do the callout, when they look around to see who said the callout, you will have an indactor over you’re head on they’re screen. Now they can follow you or they can just do what they want, it’s they’re choice. This will influence teammwork between teammates

Vehicles

I really hated how vehicles did not have the following additons. First, when you are driving say a warthog, you are driving at FULL velocity(speed), and crach into a wall it should do alot of damage to you and the hog. Like when you are driving a car (IRL) and you crash it will hurt you and the car alot. Also why are some vehicles that should be fast ,but are really slow? What the yoink! man! It is 2552(About this time) the hog should be able to go as fast as a Lambo.(I don’t know it could just be me)The Hog, mongoose, ghost, and banshees should be alot faster.

Another thing is that you can’t drive in first person(Or atleast have the option to).Go to 0:19 on this video.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DJDcsyttPFA&list=FLhxugEmhc1-f3CBha93rLjw&index=1&feature=plpp_videoHe is shooting in passenger seat in First person. This enhances the experice and gives it the rollar coasater fealing.

Weapons

I think that the weapons don’t have the feal of destruction when you shoot it. Like in Halo 3 when I’m shooting the AR it feels like I’m shooting a toy gun, but the Reach AR was such a better improvement in that section. Now you know what I mean? The weapons need the “packing a punch” feel in Halo 4. When I play (Please Please don’t flame me) BF3, the weapons feel alot more stronger. Things that influence that it the sound it makes, the vibrations, and how beast it looks (IMO). I think the BR looks better like this.

What I think would be cool for Halo 4’s weapons is if the (Please don’t flame me) weapons had a bit of a varity. Like for the UNSC I don’t want BR or DMR, I want both(Or a way to change the rate of fire like in BF3). Another thing I would love to see in the LMG Sorta’ like this. Just to spice things up a bit.

Extreme Movement

(Please don’t flame, please don’t flame, oh god please don’t flame!) I’d like to see some extra stuff like the parkour manuvers or the dive poeple that people in Halo cutsceens do to protect themselves from explosions. Say I’m on one of the walk ways in in high up in the middle of swordbase(This is just an example. Swordbase was a terrible map) and you see some guy in the middle of the floor down stairs. I would like to manuver over the railing to get down instead of just jumping over it. Just like when noble 6 did in the first cutsceen of exodus. Example here(Go to 1:35) It would add some style to the game.

Another cool feature could be diving. Like so(At 0:57). You would do a short sprint then dive to the ground and then get up after that. This will reduce damage recieved from explosives. So when the opponent is spamin’ nades, you can do that, but it will leave you defenceless at CLOSE QUARTERS.

Other Stuff

I want the option tp play Halo music from different Halo games to be played during gameplay. Badass idea or what?

On the extreme movement point you made. This is kinda what happened to Reach. Wouldn’t it be cool if everyone can use AL off spawn? Wouldn’t it be cool to have spartans sprint? You have to look at how it works gameplay-wise NOT if something is cool, or you end up with some gimmicky crap like Reach

Don’t knock it 'till you try it.

Not to be cocky but I’m one of the better drivers in the halo 3 community. The hog speed is good don’t tamper with it. Worst point you made was the first person driving. This MUST not happen… One of the tactics you learn at high level driving is to use the camera to see around objects or hills. If you want to see some of my driving in Halo 3 look in my fileshare. All games are 50 high team slayer running fours with my team.

Addressing your comment on vehicles. The movement was perfect in Halo 3. Reach’s movement felt like everything bounced way too much. Increasing speed will make vehicles extremely hard to drive. Also, if you have them inflict heavy damage when they crash will make people not want to drive vehicles as driving a vehicle in a combat game will guarantee that you will hit walls.

The command feature may work if 343i works and plays around with it.

I agree with your points on the weapons. They should be made to look like they actually pack the punch they do in game, as long as these are only for aesthetic value only. I don’t want this to affect gameplay. I don’t agree on your point of variety. Halo only needs two models of basically the same gun (carbine and BR, rocket launcher and fuel rod, beam rifle and sniper rifle) that present pros and cons and can be countered with other weapons. Introducing other guns that operate the same will create inbalance as some of these will be stronger than others.

Extreme Movement: NO

Thank you for the feedback.

The main thing that I wanted most for this game are the commands.
