Are we going to only use the Mark IV in the multiplayer?

You mean Mark VII? Mark IV is what the Spartans in Halo Wars wore. V was in CE and VI is from Halo 2/3.

I have a thread discussing armors. So far sol we’re been shown in the Spartan IVs armor.

I’ll post my thread when I get home.

Where? They were talking about the Spartan-IV’s. Not the MJOLNIR Mark IV. The Mark IV was the first working set of MJOLNIR armor. The Spartan-II’s wore it up until the 2550’s where they were given the new MJOLNIR Mark V. Chief wears this in Halo: Combat Evolved. In Halo 2, Chief was given the Mark VI. He also has this in Halo 3 and at the very least, the beginning of Halo 4. The Spartan-IV’s only wear Mark VII as it is the latest incarnation which was developed during their creation.

There are spartan IV’s but that does not mean for sure that they are wearing Mark IV armor.

Yeah, heck even if that armor was default it looked beastly!

I think you’re a little mixed up OP. The Mark IV was the armour seen in Halo Wars and was used by Spartan IIs (such as the Master Chief) before the events of the main games. Mark V was used by Spartans in Halo Reach and Halo CE. It was mostly used by Spartan IIs but there were a few Spartan IIIs that used it too (the members of Noble Team). In Halo 2, Mark VI was introduced and it carried over into Halo 3. In both those games it was used in multiplayer and campaign.

In Halo 4 we’ll be using Spartan IVs in multiplayer and they will likely be using Mark VII armour.
