from what ive heard and seen it seems there concentrating on the multiplayer a whole lot more which i think is brilliant because the campaign you play realy once, but the multiplayer you will constantly play so i think thats good.

There aren’t perks. It was denied by Frank O’Connor.

right thank you so what is all this rubbish being said by people about perks??

> There aren’t perks. It was denied by Frank O’Connor.

Again why would 343I say perks in one area then say no perks in another? Unless you have a video of Franke saying, “Sorry guys I am a -Yoink!- and dropped the ball Halo is not going to be a futuristic Halo,” You’re not convincing me …

Did he now?

He did. It’s in multiple threads. He stated that he never used the word “perk”. There still might be some kind of customization and loadout system, though.

I’m trying not to freak out till we can play the game for ourselves or they give us some concrete systems.

Yes, he did.

Dude, seriously, progressive and ‘kind of perk’ system is not new, and much of us never had saw one of this without flaws, 343i can be the most experienced multidisciplinary team ever made, know is that this game scheme is flaw.

Frankie has stated multiple times that the word “perk” has been overly exaggerated by the media. All that has been said about these so-called “perks” from 343 is that different armor permutations will have an effect on actual gameplay, and will not be solely for aesthetics. This could be as simple as maybe a slightly faster reload time, which isn’t game-breaking at all.

> “Sorry guys I am a -Yoink!- and dropped the ball Halo is not going to be a futuristic Halo,”

I want to play a WWII version of Halo.

He said the media over-exaggerated the whole “perk” thing.

okay someone put it simply for me, did they or did they not say anything about a perk kind of thing??

It’s not perks perks, it’s kind of perks. Not explain much, but is what was said.
