I am not sure how others feel about this topic or if it is something most really care about, but the Multikill timers felt wonky during the flight. I saw some online saying the timer varied, sometimes 5 seconds and at other times 6+ seconds. Unyshek confirmed last night on twitter in a response to Mint Blitz that the Multikill timer starts at 5 seconds and then .25 seconds is added for each multi. The timer maxes out at 7 seconds for the Naire.
Ex:
Double - 5 seconds
Triple - 5.25 seconds
Overkill - 5.50 seconds
Killtac - 5.75 seconds
Trocity - 6 seconds
Jaro - 6.25 seconds
Killtast - 6.50 seconds
Killpoc - 6.75 seconds
Naire - 7 seconds
I am part of the Halo montaging community and I know a lot of folks who make videos pride themselves on hitting clips that have a high difficulty to hit. I personally do not like this change from a content creation standpoint. I know it is nitpicky, but wanted to voice my concern that it makes multikills feel less rewarding. H:ce - 4 had 4 second timers across the board and H5 introduced a 5 second timer. 5 seconds felt generous when they made the change, but I feel like this may make high multis too easy. I would prefer they revert it back to 4 seconds and potentially add a .25 timer to each kill after an Overkill, with a cap of 5 seconds. Or revert it to 5 seconds for each Multi. Curious what others think or if this is something anyone else cares about. Let me know your thoughts
