PLEASE 343 bring multi-team back to Halo for those of us that live for the chaos that can only come from a playlist with 3 or more teams !!
Ever since Halo 3 I have been a multi-team addict. It is basically all I played in Reach. I have been playing Halo since CE first came out and multi-team is the most fun I have ever had playing Halo.
I know from the stats it is not that popular a playlist, but from the playlist numbers numbers dating back to Halo 2 (I know there was no permanent mt in 2, only temporary weekend ones) Team Objective has never been that popular. Yet there are specific playlists in H4 pulled from Team Objective.
Multi-Team had a significant and constant enough population to sustain viable game play in 3 and Reach. (Probably because players could get a mix of mostly slayer but some objective in a totally unique dynamic) PLEASE 343 bring multi-team back to Halo for those of us that live for the chaos that can only come from 3 or more teams and 8 or more players on a smaller map !!
My preference was the initial reach configuration of 6 teams of two. I would settle for 4 teams of 3, 4 teams of 2, 3 teams of 4. SOMETHING OUTSIDE OF A LIST WITH ONLY TWO COMPETITIVE ENTITIES !!!
It’s funny cause this is the playlist that nobody ever says they miss, but everyone would go to play when they just wanted to mess around. That’s what’s so great about multi team. When you just wanna mess around it’s perfect! I would be happy seeing it come back.
4 teams is my preference, 2or3 player teams with some 4way symmetrical maps from forge, 4 team flag just dissapeared at some point in history,
Foundation warlock and midship would be fun to see

Multi team was always one of my favorite playlists in H3 and Reach. The huge competition for the hill on KotH was sooo much fun, and the Slayer matches were chaotic. I was quite sad when I saw Multi team was not in the original H4 playlist set, and now I really hope they add it.

In all honesty I want this playlist so bad it’s not even funny but IMO bringing it back as a rotational playlist would just be a brutal tease. It needs to come back permanently and ya know why? This is why…

It is the perfect playlist to jump in when you want to take a break from a serious competitive playlist. Also for me personally there is something just really nice and fun when you pair up with a close family member, friend, girlfriend, etc…
The thing I don’t understand is that you would think that 343 would understand that this playlist is at its core laid back in nature. To me this is the perfect playlist that would lend itself well to the personal and random ordinance drops added to Halo 4 because it would just add to the chaos and would be DAMN FUN!!
Also I have introduced many beginners including my wifey to Halo multiplayer with a multi-team playlist and they have not looked back.
You have to understand 343 that this is the perfect playlist for beginners who want to test the multiplayer waters but may fear criticism because of poor skill. Well with just you and your partner you don’t have to worry about that assuming your partner is a close friend, girlfriend, family member, etc…
This is another reason why I prefer two-player teams (6x2 or 4x2). But if I had to choose I would go with the 6x2 teams (Too many bad experiences with that “third wheel”- betrayals, quitting, etc… but that’s another story). The amount of fun I had with the 6x2 multi-team playlist in Reach was off the charts. PLEASE BRING IT BACK 343!!!
The first thing my non-videogame playing girl asked when I bought Halo 4 was, “Where’s multi-team?”

Yes Multi team please. and a regular rumble pit please. Having all the playlists is a big deal 343. and all the multi player maps from all the halo games need to carry over. how awesome would it be to have like 80 maps. get serious 343.

I highly doubt we would get all maps but it would be nice to have the occasional retro map pack. That would be nice.
Anything more than 4 teams of 2 is too chaotic. It was one of the main reasons I barely touched Multiteam in Halo Reach (aside from the groups of 3 boosters).
Halo 3 had a perfect size, and the maps fit well.
Imagine playing 4 teams of 3 on Haven…that would be hell.
On the note of Multiteam, though, I’d love to see an Action Sack playlist that features 3-ball. That is one of the best gametypes IMO, though I’m not sure how it would work with throwing the balls.
Multi-team is the best playlist out there. I’m super pissed it’s not on halo 4 yet. Multi-team SWAT was my favorite game type ever in any halo. Please bring it back!!!
I played multi team all the time, it was the best. One playlist I would always go to to mess around, which is usually what I want to do (just laid back no pressure)
I think that 5 teams of 3 (like Halo Reach at launch) or four teams of 3 would work the best.
