Multi Assault CTF missing in CE BTB

Currently Halo CE is missing the Multi Assault Option in BTB while all the other games have that option. Now your probably thinking wait a second Halo CE only has CTF, but it actually has an Assault option as well.

Multi Assault in Halo CE works the same as
the other games, the only difference is instead of a bomb your taking your flag to the enemy base instead. One of the complaints I’ve seen with some people is the CE BTB maps are to big. Well Multi Assault CTF fixes that as you don’t have to go all the way back to your base after taking the enemy’s team flag, instead bring your flag to theirs and you are cutting the distance in half to score.

Settings wise you can literally take the CTF Match Making options in the game and upload them into a Multi Assault CTF Playlist and your set.

Map wise your set with all the standard BTB maps in the Halo CE Playlist. Let’s make it happen!

I’d love to see that happen, change things up a bit.

I would keep keep all the maps that are currently in CTF as they are. Their are people who do like playing CTF on all the maps.

Siege does mean Assault, yes. As for keeping CTF on all of the maps, I don’t know if that’s a good idea for maps like Sidewinder. CTF on that map can be extremely brutal, especially with the Scorpion tanks.

Sidewinder is a classic CTF Map, a lot of people would be upset if it was ever taken out of CTF.

Are their scorpions on Sidewinder? I just played last week and didn’t see any at all or is just random as a heavies Variant from time to time? If so Scorpions need to be disabled right away as the OG gametype was just warthogs.

Personally I’d keep all the maps in both categories. The great thing about all the maps is they are all symmetrical.

70 percent CTF and 30 percent Siege/Assault would be perfect.

Maybe they would like Assault better if they give it a proper chance. The MCC team always runs experiments with social matchmaking, so I don’t see why they shouldn’t try this for a while and see how people receive it.

A lot of people over the years I’ve done Customs with like a change of pace with Multi Assault on the map. It certainly changes the sandbox up as you now have to play defense at home base.

The larger maps would also work better for Assault because of how open they are. Enemy defenses would be brutal on the smaller BTB maps—too brutal for Assault anyway.
