Say if i have bought some mt dew and doritos and i enter the codes on the website and i apply them to my gamertag before the game comes out does that mean i cant use the ones i applied because i seen this after i had done so.
“REDEEM YOUR XP MATCHES: To redeem your XP Matches follow the onscreen instructions in the Dashboard to select a Code to apply the XP Matches associated with that Code to a specific Gamer ID/Gamer tag. <mark>In order to assign and use XP Matches to a Gamer ID/Gamer tag the Gamer ID/Gamer tag account holder must purchase the Halo 4 game and log into Xbox LIVE gold War Games mode prior to “pushing” their XP Matches to that Gamer ID/Gamer tag.</mark>”
If this is true it’s not fair, you should still be able to use those codes.
Okay i was just wondering because what i quoted It was saying that i have to be in war games before hand to apply the XP to my account so it was confusing.
Pretty sure they’ll count, otherwise I doubt they’d offer the otpion to apply them already, and I doubt it would say ‘John Doe has X matches applied’ next to the little picture of your spartan.

This is what i was thinking but i wasnt totally sure, i just wanted to see what other people also thought about on this subject cause im sure other people did the same.
“Codes can be entered on the Website until 1/31/13 and pushed to Xbox LIVE accounts until 3/31/13; at that time, the Double XP matches will be transferred automatically to the Xbox LIVE Account that was last used on by the Participant.” straight from the website

“What if I have Double XP ready, but don’t want to use it? When does the clock start, is it only during game play?
You can bank your Double XP matches on the website. It is up to the Participant of when they want to push/apply their Double XP to their Xbox LIVE Gold account.”
“How do I transfer Double XP Matches to my Xbox? Do I “activate” when I load up?
You can transfer your Double XP matches to Xbox LIVE Gold Accounts for Xbox 360. Once you have banked your Double XP matches via the website, you will have to log into your Xbox LIVE account on the microsite. Then go into the microsite to “push” Double XP Matches to an Xbox LIVE Account. Lastly, log into your Xbox LIVE account and go into multiplayer, your Double XP Matches will begin for the amount pushed to your Xbox LIVE Gold Account. HALO® 4 and Xbox LIVE GOLD REQUIRED (sold separately).”
Gee… must be nice to at least be able to have access to getting Double XP matches. I really can’t stand our crappy stores around here -.-
LE buyers ought to be given at least half the max in double XP games just for having nearly everything else gutted from the LE and ending up available in some capacity to non-LE owners. Not to mention that would at least give those of us who can’t even get any double XP products a shot at getting in on the matter.
Hell… I’d even keep my own LE pre-order if that were the case.

Good ole Lee County Alabama
I’ve checked our 3 major grocers and a few of the gas stations nearby and not one of em has a Halo 4-marked anything.
I remember there being a link to a little locator program somewhere a few weeks ago, but last I saw, the closest location was just over 30 miles from where I live, and that -Yoink- just ain’t happening.
I was trying to find the locator again actually since I’m probably going to have to end up making a short trip out of town to pick up my arcade stick, but I can’t find the locator now and I really can’t remember precisely where the stores were >_<
