MP maps are what? Seriously?

In past Halo games the maps all felt like they had their own story, their own purpose. Now they are just fake and meaningless.

Don’t worry, I’m sure they’ll announce something much more terrible than just the maps are holograms. I’m thinking ads and weapon camos next.

Or how about ads that play on your ammo counter!

> Damn, halos MM maps were (at least in halo 1/3) were all about discovering new places that we havent been before. now its all a fake? jesus christ I dont think Yoink! can’t get any worse…

Yes it is ironic that you are upset that an imaginary place is actually a recreation of an imaginary programmer’s imagination, instead of simply being just an imaginary place.

I call kill streaks. I wonder what they’ll call them. “Spartan Streaks”? “Spree Rewards”?

Wait… are you saying all the locations in the Halo universe don’t actually exist in real life!!! OMGBBQ WHTS GOING ON!!.

If that is true, what is the point of playing Multiplayer at all if it is fake.

And what happens to your mental process when you ponder the idea that the holograms are from Forerunner databases that purposely recreate locations that have been scanned for just such purposes of “being there, yet not actually being there?”

What’s the point of the question if MP always WAS fake before?
If MP was always non-canon events on canon-locations, how are things any more fake?

> If that is true, what is the point of playing Multiplayer at all if it is fake.

Because it’s fun (hopefully)?

Or was that irony?

sigh wtf i never said these places were real? i was just stating they’re nice little canonical ‘side stories’

Does it really matter that much? You prolly won’t even see the difference.

Chuckle chuckle… because now the exploration of these new environments is meaningless…

But seriously, having the environments be “artificial” doesn’t mean they don’t exist in game. On star trek next gen I could go to the holodeck and call up recreations of real places. How is this any different?

On a lighter note they could be real places but, unfortunately you are not actually there.

Some parts of the community never cease to “not” amaze me. -.-

IT’S A -Yoinking!- GAME KID!!! It’s all made up of -Yoinking!- data!! Think of it as the Matrix, everything inside is technically as real as outside, just because it “says” their holographic doesn’t actually mean they are, stop following the crowd of hate just to get likes!

The article even sites them akin to star treks holo deck.

Is it illegal, ban material to post pics of the issue, i have it.
