I understand some people have pre-downloaded the Free to Play stuff ready for “whenever” it launches. I am struggling to find this option, if anyone can walk me through it please.
Not possible? There a small file youbdownload but not the whole game

It’s on version 1.0.0.0 since it went up for pre order so there isn’t even a build to download yet apart from the 280mb one

If there is a “Release” it’s probably something limited time only or a BETA, or Just a pre-download. And I doubt its anything more than the flight build if there IS an early release of MP.
More than likely not. It would more likely be a public Beta a true Beta and not a flight. With Halo Infinite release so close a flight which is for Halo Insiders only won’t make sense. With Halo Infinite multiplayer being free to play it would be wise here soon to have a public Beta to stress test servers and matchmaking. Cause we doesn’t like to try a game when it is free.
but thats what the flights were for so plus last flight was also a public test too so I dont think its gonna be that
Last flight wasn’t public, you had to be a Halo Insider to play it on console and for PC you were given a code to give to a friend. Yes the last(third) flight was open to all who signed up to be a Halo Insider, though there were a few who couldn’t join even then according to some post on the old waypoint at the time of the flight.
Oks lrts get some facts in here 343 would have given some knowledge or advertisement of somed form of early access granted multiplayer is free we would have been given some kind of info officialy from 343. Secondly whilwere i agree it would be nice to have multiplayer early fact is with it being the 14th already while possible for a midnight surprise i find it unlikely mainly due the fact the multiplayer in xbox store has no release date set on it as nd i pre orderd the campaign mode has the december 8th date still for release so if we were to get multiplayer early thed have a release date on the multiplayer app. Finaly the rumor was started by natethehate2 ive looked at his twitter where this rumor started he is most likely a streamer as anxcious for the game as we are. Hbk owever he aint a official 343 employee with that said if we were getting it early it would have come from the official 343 twitter

Naw if they launch the mp early it’ll be the full release. They need player retention and building a separate build alongside the release build at this stage would be gross mismanagement of the project.
If it drops tomorrow its the launch suite most probably.

Well first of all you said “the flight” not the flight build from before. But after calling it a beta, seeing as that isn’t the name of either of the tests tus far it seemed to me you mean an open beta.
So perhaps be clearer in your writting if you feel you are being frequently misunderstood.
Because if that is the case you are the common denominator in that situation and therefore the likely cause.
As for why. Exactly why would they release a third flight? They have been open about how flights are to get feedback.
No info from another flight will be actionable.
The prior ones are not representative of the launch product.
The game isn’t listed on the store as a beta or a flight.
It is listed as halo infinite mp early release.
Theres no logic in launching a separate build now so close to release.
If an early launch is planned, it is most probably just that.

A flight build is obviously dividing the workload and would be getting feedback on an outdated build for no reason.
An idea of an open beta seems like a good idea to test how much their system can handle before launch. Any launch day is bound to have some issues but I think a beta could mitigate some network issues.
well they are having an xbox 20th anniversary event tomorrow, so it is very much possible for them to announce this at the end of the event.
Really I didn’t see that. From the flight details on post on waypoint and support website info it was only for those that signed up for Halo Insider.
The Esports Arena tweeted that it was releasing tomorrow and then deleted and changed it to with rumors of it releasing, lol.
I could maybe see another flight, but a full release of the multiplayer? Not happening. Even a flight is a stretch, since we’re a mere 3 weeks away from Dec. 8th.
Does anyone know if Steam users will be able to download the MP with the rest of the Xbox and Windows users? I’ve already hear that you can download it early on Gamepass and via Xbox store, but I wasn’t sure about steam players or people outside of Game Pass
