Zero comment from 343 while this rumor spreads like wildfire. I’m starting to lean toward this being a reality.

The fact this rumor has been catching so much steam all day and a 343 community rep hasn’t shut it down yet is… interesting…

Are you saying that your 343 friend would do something to imply an event is happening or something big?
Well I hope it comes out Monday, but I think it will backfire if there are a lot of issues.
If anything, I bet Microsoft forced their hand in this and REALLY wanted something big Halo wise to drop on the 20th anniversary. Plus it makes for good PR.
I can see it being a “beta” that runs like 2 weeks and then goes offline 1 week before the launch. Progress will probably carry over.

hmmm usually when rumours blow up 343 usually reacts to shut it down, interesting how so far they have not shut down this mp rumour…
Just a thought, but with mp and campaign being 2 separate things now rather than just 1 game, wouldn’t it make sense to drop mp early, so basically 343 get solid reviews on both rather than on whole thing, it would also wipe out other fps games as content creators would literally drop everything, xbox would literally dominate Nov and Dec, not to mention with Black Friday coming console sales would increase significantly just to play Infinite.
We had already campaign footage which was my original thought for xbox event, hardly think xbox would just do something like show more new footage, they would do something big.

Yeah and nah but then again - I usually play one at a time anyway - like a lot of people, I suppose. If it did come out on the 15th think about the population all playing multiplayer. But then on the 8th - it would be cut in half!
The release date listing for mp got updated to Dec. 8th instead of the 15th. It was a good run.
I honestly hope that’s the case. Launching on a Monday would just be… silly. Also considering how many people requested days off the week of December 8.

When you type in halo infinite in Google it shows a countdown timer thats just been sitting there with the ETA for this Monday. This thread hasn’t been locked so I find that interesting, and how’d that timer appear, who put it there, and why hasnt it been taken off if it’s been there for awhile now already?
It would be awesome if it came out this Monday. I actually have the day off already lol. If not I can always get the 8th off as well. It would be dope to get something as awesome as an early release for that occasion though. Definitely makes people excited over it.

I haven’t seen the timer, but maybe it just doesn’t show in my time zone or something. What is interesting is how 343 haven’t shut down the rumours, as they normally do when it spreads this much…

I wouldn’t what a flight due to the fact it is limited to Halo Insiders, a public Beta would be the best at this time. It would allow anyone to play and it would give 343i much needed test on their network and server since MP is free to play. If they don’t do a Beta before launch, I am 90% sure there is going to be network and server issues which will not do them any good.
by open flight I mean available to all, like an open beta, sorry for any confusion, been an insider for quite some time and the term flight has stuck with me. 
and I do get your point, would be great for all to try, and for 343i to have a massive server stress test.
