According to a tweet from NateTheHate2 and HaloDotAPI tweet below the Halo Infinite MP will release as an anniversary surprise coming monday. (I can’t post the links because dumb new forum rules)
Might just be rumours but who knows.

Unconfirmed and very unlikely.
There are journalists close to Xbox sources that say this isn’t going to be some early release.
December 8th is when you can play Halo Infinite

I’m not saying this will happen, frankly I believe MP will launch with SP on Dec. 8th, but if I were your friend who worked at 343i, personally, I would lie to you so you can be surprised. I wouldn’t give anything away to my friends/family.
But that’s just me.

Honestly I hope so. Getting players is difficult and with CoD and BF currently it would perfect.
Employees that work at 343 are most likely under an NDA that forbids them from talking about stuff like that, even with family or friends, until it’s made public knowledge. Simply refusing to answer any questions like that would be the best way to avoid getting into hot water with the company.

It’s annoying this potential suprise is being leaked by people, but that being said only a fraction of people will know about this and most will have the big reveal to them during the 20th showcase if it happens.
If it doesn’t then I won’t be disappointed, I’m very busy with Hades and Forza right now so they’ll keep me busy until Infinite. The days are coming thick and fast although the final week of waiting will no doubt be long.

Yes, I’d have to agree. Hence why if it was me personally, I would lie to anyone who asked or just not say anything at all. Close friends/relatives or not.

Don’t trust it, even with the amount of direct “sources” saying it will happen. making plans for if it happens but making sure those plans include what to do when it doesn’t.
I give it a 98% not going to happen and a 2% might happen.

odds are this rumor is to hype up infinte now way is it gonna be out on the 15th while symbolic in it being the date when the whole franchise started 20 years ago I dont think 343 is gonna let this happen plus these claims dont have any reliable source just speculation on something that maybe google forgot to fix or a bug with the search engine

Honestly I feel like they wouldn’t drop it as a surprise with no notice. That would be very off putting to a lot of people who have already requested off of work for the December date.

I really hoped and expected that they’d do something big for the 20th anniversary but a full release of the MP seems way more ambitious than I’d imagined.
I was thinking maybe another Flight or maybe an early release of a single playlist with a limited number of maps.
If the MP is ready they should release it though. It’s F2P and they should get it out as soon as it’s ready to grow the playerbase.
I’ve already booked some time off work in December to play but will have to book some more time off if the MP actually does release on the 15th. Exciting times.
