So I just wanted to play MP with a friend of mine and it happened, that I got kicked because I was goal defense.
I got kicked 2 times in the past 2 weeks and these were the only 2 times I ever got kicked in any halo game ever. We played another round after and nothing happened this round. Now I am able select Arena or Warzone in the title but I can’t select anything past that. It’s just greyed out.
2 times is the limit? I don’t know what to do guys.
The other person probably kicked me accidentely because of the rush.
How can you get kicked for being goal defense?
I just looked at your service record. And it shows you haven’t played a single game of anything. Are you new to Halo 5?
That means you are offline/ not connected to xbl. Heard reset you booted and restart the game.
I agree with MATADOR. Do a hard reset/start to your xbox. And do it correctly… Also it probably wouldn’t hurt to power cycle your modem… And make sure your NAT is set to Open. You should be up and running in no time if its all good to go!

i was playing as goal defence which means standing there and defending … which then ends in a friendly fire desaster mostly

No i’m not new to halo 5 i already have it for quite a while. there must’ve been an issue.

Well i hardly believe that since i was still in a party talking to my buddy and when I joined his fireteam he was able to take me anywhere. But when I was fireteam leader I couldn’t select anything. All was grey.

PC internet worked fine and NAT for XBOX is always open since it’s registered as exposed host.
It started working again after a few games as not being fireteam leader … though I have no idea what the problem was. No hardreset, no modem reset, no disconnect.
When Multiplayer is grayed out, it’s usually just a bug. Bans would not gray-out options, but would rather have a warning telling you that you cannot play any playlists in a certain mode (Arena/Warzone). This bug is easily fixed by rebooting the game.
