Not sure if i missed it… Has there been any flying vehicles announced for multiplayer?
Huge fan of the hornet/falcon, and always dreamed of flying a Pelican in MP.

Falcon and banshees have been confirmed. Still waiting on the promethean vehicles

The Banshee is in MP and while we haven’t seen it in MP, the Falcon is returning from Halo Reach.
Sweet. Anyone know if you can carry objectives in the Falcon this time around? It seemed kind of silly that you couldnt with all those extra seats in the Falcon.

Nope, idc tho I just wanna hornet
Falcons have made appearances in the backgrounds of a few screenshots. But no confirmation of whether or not we will pilot them.

Prometheans aren’t a sentient race, they are AIs. Any “Vehicle” equivalents would be entirely AI piloted, and would not be drivable by organics. You know, since there wouldn’t be any seats, or control consoles.
In the Campaign we’ve seen what looks like a Promethean Turret, and it’s literally just an automated cannon mounted on a wall, noone controlling it.

Hmmm if couldn’t do it in Reach, we probably can’t do it in Halo 4. It would make flag caps extremely easy once the opposition is locked down.
Also, there isn’t any Promethean vehicles because they don’t need them. The Knights can teleport, the Watchers can fly, and the Crawlers can basically go anywhere in grounded terrain.

There is a Pelican on Ragnarok (although it’s not in functioning order). Does that count?
are the Pelicans drivable this time around ?

I doubt it. My understanding is that there’s supposed to be 2 new drivable vehicles and those are the Mammoth and the Mantis. I wish there were more new drivable vehicles than that but if the Hornet and Spectre returned then that would be good enough for me.
