So when I got my XBOX I got the standard edition of halo 5 and after a few months my friend gifted me halo 5 limited edition. I thought ill start using that disc however when I insert it it tells me to reinstall halo 5. I’m having a lot of issues with halo 5 at the moment so I’m anyway planning of reinstalling the game. Feel kinda stupid in asking but, if I reinstall the game using the limited edition disc after removing the game which I installed via standard disc, I won’t lose any of my data/commendations etc I’ve earned when I played with the standard disc right?
No, your profile data is stored on Halo 5’s servers. The disks do not store your profile data. No matter how you access the game (standard disk, limited disk, digital, etc.), it won’t erase your profile data.
