Every thing released so far seems to be moving away from custom games and forge possibility.
From choosing your own weapon, and armor ability, to drop pod point weapons. Most of it seems like you wouldnt be able to get rid of those factors and will ruin most custom games and forge maps. So far all maps released dont seem opened and are clustered.
What do you think?
I think I haven’t seen enough yet. What only 3 maps so far. And still have not seen Theater, Forge or customs. Still have a lot to learn about H4.
Edit: I’m sure customs will be highly customizable to the point of stripping everything down to just pure gun to gun gameplay with set power weapons on map like H2/H3 days.
I completely disagree. We have yet to see any information on custom games. I feel with whatever forge we have, we will hopefully have a larger population in custom games. The only thing that concerns me is, how will forge and custom games fit into the story? Perhaps 343i was only planning on making spartan ops and matchmaking part of the cannon but who knows?
they have also been saying all along that you will have customs and everything will be customizable if you don’t want to have them. They also have hardly scratched the service of what we should expect from this game. right now it looks they are just trying to wow people and draw larger fan base. They haven’t shown that much that really answers all the many questions people have been asking.

I would say as far as the story goes they made it really easy on themselves. It is all war games in simulations so forge is simply what creates those simulations and as for customs, it is simply a different venue for the war games. Nowhere does the term war games only allude to online.
I think the opposite the weapon spawns will be great for michinima just think, and the custom opportunities will be great and josh holmes has already confirmed you will be able to customise it completely.
