Movies and video games that made you cry

Hello, I have a question. Which movies and video games made you cry?

I don’t really remember the ones that made me cry but the ending of the movie that i watched recently “Saving Private Ryan” did made me cry a-bit, but games i don’t believe any games made me cry besides of Dead Space 1 really scared tf out of me.

For me, there’s two movies that made me cry: Flags of our Fathers and Letters from Iwo Jima. These two films really made me cry especially the ending from those films.

I’m not sure how this relates specifically to Halo, but I will say that I honestly haven’t cried due to Halo. I’ve been moved to anger, joy, and many in between, but not crying. Not that there haven’t been any emotional aspects of Halo. I guess I just don’t go to that level in general with non-fiction. Maybe I should play Halo drunk and see what happens lol.

When I was a kid Fievel Mousekewitz: An American tail made me cry but when I was older the movie I am Sam made me cry but so far no video games have made me cry. As mentioned above they have enraged me but never cried.

Movies: Hotel Rwanda, Won’t you be my Neighbor?

Games: Final Fantasy 4, Kingdom Hearts, Mass Effect (different points in each game), Links Awakening Dx, TellTales: Walking Dead Season 1,

That’s what I can remember off the top of my head.

The film Judge, when the father of the main character died

Movie: “A star is born” at the end when you know what happens

Games: Not really cried but felt very sad at The walking dead series

The halo 5s beatiful ending, jk, halo 3 made me cry when i was younger

There’s another movie that almost make me cry. And, I just finished watching. Tears of the Sun. The final battle and the ending from that movie is very emotional. It almost make me cry.

Black Swan ending everytime

Blade Runner 2049 ending scene

Halo 5 made me cry, because the requisition system existed

I can’t think of a time when Halo made me cry. Yeah there have been sad parts or intentionally overwhelming atmospheres created in Halo but it never made me cry. I could think of some movies/games that have made me cry, but that’s really not to do with Halo (so I’ll be leaving it out of this post).

Definitely Gears of War 2 with Dom. I never played the first one, but I knew the series was known for gorey badass combat lol. Wasn’t expecting the thing they’d mutilate was my heart :’^)

Not going to lie seeing Marcus reaction to James death nearly had me in tears. It was enough to make you want to start over and pick Del.

Nier automata and Titanfall 2.

I’ll probably get teased for this but the end of Halo 4 really got to me. Didn’t like weep, but it cut an onion or two. Just that last scene with Chief and Cortana was really moving for me. Great stuff,

I picked Del so I completely missed Marcus’s reaction. Might have to replay that part.

I think the most emotional movie ending is the
Lord of The Rings (the last movie)
When Frodo goes to “Heaven” and leaves Sam.

a video game… The only emotions I feel is anger lol.

Yeah I couldn’t do it man, JD dying made me realize Marcus truly lost everything. Couldn’t do that to the virtual man. Lost his mom, his father, long time teammate, his best friend, his father again, his wife, his friend’s tomatoes, and then his son? Nah man he needs a break. Plus JD losing Del finally makes him bond with his father again.
