So I made a thread about playable brutes and that got locked, now normally I am not one to question mods but this case sorry but I have to question the decisions. So first of all, thread was about elites not brutes. So I didn’t know that included any non-spartan playable characters. Okay no biggy, but then I saw where that thread was located at, the Halo 5 forums. A forum I don’t feel the need to go to because for one it is a game I don’t have and no intention of purchasing or playing (my reasons are my own and not needed for this post). So with that being the case I find it odd that discussion of the potential features and future development of this game Infinite is being directed to the forum of another game that is likely going to be set to maintenance mode shortly just like Halo 4 and prior games. I get it, there is already an 800 page thread on the topic, but that topic is for a different game. I mean the playable elites thread in the Legacy forums is not locked nor did it require the locking of the H5 thread. Unless there is something in Halo Infinite that includes Halo 5 (which is possible in another, less-than-popular prediction thread I made on Infinite’s structure and business model), but that is something that we are still not privy too. Maybe we will see something after E3, but again why do we need to go to the Halo 5 forums to talk about Halo Infinite? The thread is still all right, so why not just move it to this forum. I mean if that is the reason it will cut back on the accidentally locked threads.

It can’t be moved due to forum limitations, for now we’re keeping this topic open in the Halo 5 forums and preserving the history of the thread. We may decide at some point to start a new one, but for now this one is the thread to use. it actually used to be located in the Halo 4 forums, it got moved before it eventually became too big to move.

That thread is from 6 years ago in 2013. It was likely never locked as it was never brought to our attention or we never saw it at the time an re-directed. I’ve closed it off now, thanks for flagging.
