The layout of the flags needs to be redone. One of the flags is right next to a building so you can just drop down on it and then go up the grav-lift while the other flag is out in the open and is easily defended because there is nowhere to hide/run.
Complex is extremely unbalanced and favors one team due to it’s layout. Either Complex should be removed from CTF entirely or have to flags re adjusted to allow a more equal playing field.

The Blue Team has an ENORMOUS advantage in CTF on this map simply because of the flag placement and the spawns. The Blue Flag has to be ran a long distance to get to any sort of cover on the map…and even then it is difficult with the Blue Team spawning practically on top of their flag. It is way too easily defended.
The Red Flag is very easy to capture. All one has to do is sidestep it over to the grav lift and they’ve gotten most of the work done…while being protected by cover. Now all that is left is to run the flag through Complex to assure an easy cap.
Complex is fine for Slayer and SWAT, but not for CTF. It should simply just be removed from the CTF playlist altogether, it’s radical asymmetric style breaks the original balanced idea of CTF.
To be honest, I find CTF to be one of the only two gametypes that make Complex work, the other one being Oddball.
However, I do find myself agreeing with you. Blue team’s flag is out in the open while Red team’s is in between two buildings. Blue team should have less issues protecting their flag since they can just sit back across the map with a few DMR and just pound on anybody who tries to get near it. Red team, on the other hand, are stuck in close quarters and can easily be ambushed if they try to defend.
