Using the mouse wheel too fast can change weapon several times ending up in the same weapon equipped. This is a familiar issue with fps games and usually it can be workaround by using mouse wheel delay.
I also noitced that you cannot use the 1-2 keys to equip weapons, so the cycle weapon using mouse wheel needs to work properly
