Is it just me or does the motion tracker(mini map) in Halo 5 feel broken? I absolutely hate the motion tracker it is so unreliable in PvP especially when someone is coming up from behind you. Its like you don’t know they’re there until they are 5 feet behind you. In my opinion it needs a wider range so you can detect enemies coming in from farther distances. Its absolutely infuriating.
Oh boy, I can already tell that people might jump you for suggesting an increase of the motion sensor range after the initial yoink-fest that happened at release when the forums were filled with people wanting it decreased.
The motion sensor in Arena is fine as it is. I’d suggest you don’t rely on it as much as you seem to be doing.
Bro I really on my awesome headset which allows me to hear where someone is coming from. Just get one of those it’s Turtle beach
The only issue I have with the motion sensor is not appearing on it when you jump. Such a little thing to be bothered by, I know, but it makes no sense to me.
And I don’t mean that exploit months ago when you were able to crouch and jump around the map. I mean something as simple as standing in place and jumping doesn’t cause you to be on it.
Otherwise, it’s fine as it is in Arena and Warzone. I actually don’t mind the range in either and have adapted to it well.
Not another Motion tracker thread…
Yeah thanks for the support you guys -_-
Yes, I believe it has shorter range in H5 compared to previous Halos (not positive) which I don’t really understand since all the abilities in this game can make players close the distance on each other a lot faster. This makes the motion tracker very ineffective and hardly worth using. It has bigger range in WZ though.
What about grenades? I personally think the frag grenades have to big a radius.
The radius is probably large because all the movement abilities like thrust for example.
Funny. As a comp player I want it to be less effective
I would like it removed entirely, its such a crutch for players.
No issue with its range as such, but I’m pretty sure it doesn’t behave well with games that are in excess of 100ms ping, which is the case 9 times out of 10.
