Motion Sensor Probs

PROBLEM: Let me preface by saying this problem may only affect me, but I’m willing to bet others are experiencing this as well, although likely for different reasons.

I have Achromatopsia (colorblindness/photophobia) and am having considerable trouble seeing/distinguishing friends/foes on the motion sensor. The primary problem for me seems to be the sensor’s opacity.

When there is a dark surface or color as a background I can’t see enemies, and when the background is light I cant see my allies. Now the latter is only a problem when playing Grifball (don’t stand so close to me) but the former has been a big problem for me in most War Games gametypes.

SOLUTION: I would love to see a settings toggle added that allowed switching from the default transparent background to a solid, high-contrast background color, similar to Reach’s perhaps.

Now I don’t know if this can easily be done, and I also understand such a change wouldn’t be practical to implement for a relatively small subset of players. But if something can be done with little trouble and/or if enough people are having similar problems, it would be greatly appreciated.

If you are having a similar issue, for whatever reason, please lend your support and respond below.

Thank You for your consideration.

P.S. MODS: I’m not sure if this is the proper section to post this to so feel free to move it.

Sadly I don’t think this is going to happen in Halo 4, but the definitely need to add a colorblind option. To be honest there are so many user setting and options that need to be added that it’s getting a bit annoying, there aren’t even any basic audio settings (changing the music volume for example).

Yeah, I really don’t have the highest expectation, but I thought I’d at least voice my concerns. If for nothing else but to make 343i aware that people are having this problem and that it could be relatively easily resolved. Maybe not in a patch for H4 but to hopefully at least be considered in H5’s designs.
