PROBLEM: Let me preface by saying this problem may only affect me, but I’m willing to bet others are experiencing this as well, although likely for different reasons.
I have Achromatopsia (colorblindness/photophobia) and am having considerable trouble seeing/distinguishing friends/foes on the motion sensor. The primary problem for me seems to be the sensor’s opacity.
When there is a dark surface or color as a background I can’t see enemies, and when the background is light I cant see my allies. Now the latter is only a problem when playing Grifball (don’t stand so close to me) but the former has been a big problem for me in most War Games gametypes.
SOLUTION: I would love to see a settings toggle added that allowed switching from the default transparent background to a solid, high-contrast background color, similar to Reach’s perhaps.
Now I don’t know if this can easily be done, and I also understand such a change wouldn’t be practical to implement for a relatively small subset of players. But if something can be done with little trouble and/or if enough people are having similar problems, it would be greatly appreciated.
If you are having a similar issue, for whatever reason, please lend your support and respond below.
Thank You for your consideration.
P.S. MODS: I’m not sure if this is the proper section to post this to so feel free to move it.
