Personally I think the storm rifle is super underrated. I love it and don’t see many others who love it or even use it often. Blissful Slumber is my go to weapon in the beginning of a match. What weapon is underrated to you guys?
storm rifle is not underrated, everyone picks it up.
I’d say the most underrated is the plasma pistol or bolt shot, especially for Arena/Slayer.
Plasma Pistol, even with the Spitfire and Void’s Tear people forget about it. I see more Closed Fist then I see base Plasma Pistol and this is on Warzone!
AR I see everyone get SMGS.

Blood of Suban, the Carbine that is also the replacement for the needler rifle. So good at taking out other spartans in 3-5 headshots(?) and 5-6 body shots(?).

It’s just 5 shots. The needles will supercombine before they pop your shields.
The plasma caster. It’s great for hunting warthogs.

I think the Hydra would do better than again it’s better as a anti air weapon like the Enchida.

Suppressor is but you need to be in the right situation to use it but the AR is a SMG with better accuracy and range with lower ROF.

You had to show it didn’t you but yes it is pretty much the most underatted weapon in the game. I mean you can emp vehicles and noob combos and take out overshields but people never use it.

The issue with the suppressor is that the homing effect only works is when your in range for the aim assist to kick in, requiring you to use ADS at medium range.
And when your hit by the target shooting back, your knocked out of ADS and by extension your aim assist/homing effect goes with it.
And since the Supressor takes a second to spinnup, the target usually will retaliate.

Because, as per 343’s ridiculously redundant, bloated mess of “everything kills fast so it’s balanced” weapons, the SMG is literally a direct upgrade to the AR. Of course people pick it up all the time. There is no downside at all.
I know this sounds ridiculous and some will disagree but I think it’s the arclight.Alot of people prefer the whiplash and I understand why,two shots,faster charge time,but the arclight kills a ghost in 1 shot and has the infinite charge time.Not to mention it kills if you land next to your target because of splash damage.
Without a doubt, the good ol’ taser gun. If someone even bothers to pick it up, guaranteed the only reason they did is to EMP someone or something. Sheesh, even 343 forgets the damn thing has a single fire mode. (Hence the absence of a Plasma Pistol kills commendation.)
Ummm… the storm rifle is NOT underrated, it’s OP as hell.
My choice would be the plasma caster, I see people ignoring it all the time on The Rig even though it’s basically a couple of guaranteed kills if you know how to use it.
Hmm this is a tricky one, just about every weapon laying around gets picked up by someone. I’d have to say the suppressor though.
