I really like Recluse: Seri armor and the Viper: Strike if you want an option for the Helmet category.
Underrated, as I don’t see them much; and they look good. Also when paired together.

It’s very low rarity and looks good.
But it isn’t worn much.
Aviator.
Honestly I’d have to go with Venator. I don’t see it often but remember it being one of the best looking sets in Halo 4. Especially having to get a bunch of Assassinations for it. But as far as new designs go, Marauder looks sweet and I rarely see that as well
Recruit, no question. It’s mostly for the fact that it gets ditched for other armor sets as you go on.

Same, I have the legendary Marauder variant and it’s sick.
Athlon. All variants.
Buccaneer. Closest thing we’ve gotten to SPI.

I would have to say Jump Master. Love that Jonny Bravo hair cut thing it has going on.
There is a lot of underrated armors IMO: Athlon, Argonaut, Jumpmaster, Recluse, Interceptor, Nomad, Strider, Marauder, Leggionaire, Aviator, Void Dancer…

Marauder is one of my favorites in Halo 5!
Scout, Tracker, Recluse, Warrior, Orbital and EVA.
Recluse is definitely underrated, the body for that set is really cool, and the lore behind it is intriguing as well. I really like the body for the Decimator set as well, but it’s a shame that it has white crap on it.
Other than that, I find that there are way more overrated sets than underrated ones. But it’s all a matter of preference, right?
Mk IV. 'Nuff said.
The CIO body. The helmet is nothing special, but the body and shoulders are the closest to Classic Armor I’ve seen. Simple, geometrical, and functional. I would also list the Wetwork helmet but apparently it’s just as unpopular IRL as it is in-Universe.

I feel you, I was all hype for emiles armor and I got it and it’s terrible

I absolutely love the Wrath body, since it’s good old classic Mark V**, but I hate how I can’t use any other helmet with it due to the colours being darker on Wrath. I don’t get why 343i does that kind of stuff…**
