I don’t like any of them but I think promethean vision helps the most. Why? Because like 75 percent of the players only use active camo. Besides that I don’t really use AA’s that often. What is your go-to one?
JetPack. It was so OP in Reach, they cut its fuel by about half for Halo 4… but guess what? It is still uber useful because it is now a sprint/jetpack combo

I post this clip too much, but its not monetized so… I feel no guilt. i profit nothing except it illustrates my point.
AR=very usefull at close range
Jetpack= very usefull for gaining advantages angles on the enemy
That didn’t make much sense . Promethian users can barely see invisible players , and it’s worse when they have the stealth armor mod as well as when you play in big maps it doesn’t make it as useful.
The most consistently usefull armor ability has to be invisibility because it works wonders when getting the jump on someone in a firefight.
I personally feel that Promethean Vision is one the most useless AAs in the pallet. It tells me little that my HUD doesn’t.
OT: In my opinion, the Regen Field is the most useful, but Hardlight Shield is a close second.
Probably Promethean Vision, so as long as there aren’t too many Wetworks users in Halo 4. You can anticipate someone with a Boltshot, and shoot a grenade accordingly.
I like the thruster pack. So many lift/man cannon tricks…
Promethian Vision has been the most useful. Especially if they have a boltshot or a sword you can see them coming rather than being surprised.
No other loadout is as through-and-through useful if you ask me.
Camo has its moments of course.
Jet Pack goes without saying.
But I’ve seen some VERY cool techniques that I never thought possible with the thruster pack. Some of those guys are crazy resourceful. Mad props.
I don’t see too many jet packers. Most players are too busy crouching with active camo. I wish they would make that Ordnance.

They’re really fun to pull off. And on Haven you can pretty much go anywhere with it. And Solace can launch you across the map.
Jetpack breaks maps which is made worse because of the infinite shield recharge delay.
I use Hardlight Shield. I Love it and it’s not annoying as heck, like in Reach.
Jetpack
> I use Hardlight Shield. I Love it and it’s not annoying as heck, like in Reach.
Yeah right. Hardlight shield is almost MORE annoying than armor lock. And trust me, Armor Lock was the WORST thing about Reach.
hologram is my to go AA. never fails to draw attention, or expose camo campers
camo for getting that first shot on your opponnent
> hologram is my to go AA. never fails to draw attention, or expose camo campers
Ughh camo snipers, so annoying. You don’t need camo to snipe.

Really? Because I did more damage with a JetPack in Halo Reach than I could possibly do with a Armor Lock.
Jetpack: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4TqYtpnJciI When used right can dominate a map that has plenty of verticality. As you could see, 2v4 My teammat tried using camo, but that involves waiting for the enemy to get close and make a mistake… I tried using sprint, but their teammwork was good enough to deny my “conventional map navigation” we were losing till we picked Jetpacks. Jetpacks allow you to force fights on your terms at angles YOU choose. Jetpack = being unpredictable even more so than a Active camo that gives away your general location via motion sensor.
Armor lock: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JzTK2N8A4dU I could use it to really annoy others or amuse myself but it doesnt exactly DOMINATE a map. It is just a cheap gimick that might help you if 1) find yourself in a bad situation that you should have not allowed yourself to get into (even in that clip, it allowed me to make bad decisions) 2) teammates come to your aid (even in that clip, my teammate lowered the enemy shield for me)
I use Regen Field.
You could do better as far as actually getting an advantage over people, but I don’t enjoy having that.
I just like Regen because it’s a fairly passive AA to choose and it stops you being capped by some DMR idiot all the way across the map. Get to cover, Regen, move on, etc, etc.
Campaign: Arguably Active Camo (keep in mind most Zealots drop it), but there’s also Auto-Sentry.
Hardlight Shield is good for approaching Knights… if you have a Scattershot.
Jetpack is pretty useful but you only have it on 2 missions.
Promethean Vision is useful for that fog area on Infinity.
Thruster Pack is useful for the Hunter fight. It’s also good for assassinating sword Elites.
Spartan Ops: Active Camo is pretty much essential for Solo Legendary. I used to die 40 times per mission until I finally bought Camo.
Master RC’s no mortal so of course he can do those missions without it.
I usually use the jetpack, but sometimes I go for something like the regen field or hologram. You’d be surprised at how many people still fall for that
Oh, and another note, they may have nerfed the amount of fuel in a jetpack, but that have gotten rid of the “Ceiling” that it had. In Reach, you could hold down that jetpack button all day and you’ll always level out a certain distance from the surface you started at. Go and put infinite AA usage on in custom games on Halo 4 and you’ll find that ceiling has been removed entirely. Thus, to keep players from flying across the whole map on the jetpack, they’ve cut back the amount of fuel it has.
Thrusters, while useful, don’t seem to do it for me due to there insane short distance. Obviously, I’m not asking for something outrageous as evade (Which threw you across the map) but just… a teeny distance buff.
So that’s my two cents.
