Do note that most other games are split between consoles and the PC.
But H4 being Xbox exclusive, and doing that well already… is impressive!
Awesome, but as much as I’d like to proven wrong… pretty sure more people will still buy into the COD kool-aid (me along with them, of course, I enjoy Halo MUCH more)

Don’t compare the Halo 4 to the cross platform games all added together. Only add the Xbox sales of AC3 or BLOPS2, because on XBL thats the popualations we compete against.

People dislike it due to lack of innovation with each iteration of CoD. Some people dislike it due to the extremely small skillgap, and also how that to get the good stuff, you have to play against people who already have the good stuff.
OT: I hope to see the number of pre-orders rise dramatically over the next coming of weeks.
I wouldn’t trust VGchartz that much, their information is not always reliable. But that is pretty cool that it is outselling CoD already. I’m awaiting until we actually see what comes in the Limited Edition before I preorder.
But you also have to factor in how many kids don’t preorder the new CoD, and just get it for Christmas.

They got it right the first time, there was no reason to change it, simple. Part of the thing with the weapon unlocking, is so that as you level up your skill and experience within the game also grows, thus allowing you to be more effective once you have better weapons.

I suppose, but CoD has much more commercial popularity. Although 343 is making a name of Halo once more, and really trying to make people interested once more.
