I’m having another play through of the Campaign at the moment and its way more fun to play as Chief than 343s attempt at a replacement for our beloved MC. It only dawned on me recently how deep the rabbit hole goes when I thought about the Master Chief collection Title and how ominous that sounds for the Character, like he wont be the main character anymore. That being followed by 5 and its new guy being forced into the lime light instead of MC. More Chief less new guy.
The moment Halo 5 was announced and Chief was on the bottom of the coverart (the desert one. The one shown with Halo 5’s announcement), I knew it was going to be lopsided and I would hate Locke for that
and it was! And I did!
The campaign was a little disappointing (minus the Sanghelios missions, those were awesome). I hope Halo 6 puts things back on the right track.
