This is getting very frustrating. I’m obviously not a bad player since I ranked diamond 1. Most of the time when I lose really bad I look at my recent players and press A and I see the PC icon just below their name. Anybody else experiencing this? Why can’t we disable crossplay?

Yeh noticed this too. I’m not sure if it’s people cheating or ‘being good’ but it is off putting since doesn’t encourage getting better if the matchmaking system is poorly matching players.

It should settle down quickly. Those players ‘beating’ you will rank up and you’ll be left playing people performing at the same level. It won’t matter what input anyone is using. Closer games should ensue.

you have the option to change it to only play against people using a controller instead M+KB
How do you do that? I haven’t seen that option.
There are 3 ranked lists: open/crossplay and solo+duo/controller and solo+duo/M+KB
Good to know. I guess my friends and I are gonna have to split up. But that’s better than playing va M&K.
Slightly off topic but i actually thinking rankings are broken. A lot of my buddies are worse than me, lost half their placement matches and we’re not top of the team, and placed diamond one. I won 8 out of 10, was top of the team every game except maybe 1, 2.0+ k/d and played objective, and got plat 4.0. I can’t think of a reason why. I’ve also heard other people say they can lose like 20 games then win 4 and only rank up.
The game was designed with PC input in mind with controller being an after thought. In fairness to 343i controller input has been improved since the first flight, but is not on the same level of quality as PC

Yeah losing has barely any impact that’s one of the reasons people focus in their KDA and not winning the game.
