Most of the Halo maps won't load! Please help

So after getting the Champion’s bundle, I can’t load half of the maps, nor can I play them. I figured maybe I should try to load them in forge, but nope! That doesn’t work either. It tells me at the bottom of the screen this. “Player’s failed to load content. A player may be missing downloadable content.” Hmmm, that’s strange. I did the latest title update, I have every DLC, and you’re telling me I’m missing something? Yeah, riiiight. So anyways, I don’t know how to fix that. I jump into a multiplayer game, and on the voting screen, none of the map picture’s load, except for a certain few in which I will list. After the vote, it just kicks me out and puts me in a new search. How can I fix this and what is wrong?

That is the list of all the maps that work. I don’t know if this is a problem due to the new title update or what. Please help.

Also, every time I load the game, I have to switch the network connection from local to Xbox live.

Sorry to hear about your issues, SPRTN One One 7. Based on what you described, I suspect something is wrong with your disc. Do you have access to another copy of Halo 4? If so, try to load that one up and see if you experience the same issues.

I too am having a similar problem except this has been happening since release date of Halo 4. Certain maps of mine wont load at all. I have had my disc replaced three times and I still have the same problems but ive put them off on the side until Halo 4 started placing in the maps into matchmaking. These maps consist of Impact and Erosion. What happens is when the game loads (or tries to) it shows the UNSC logo, goes black for a couple of minutes, then goes to the start menu with no sounds/music. Its really starting to become a nuisance because of all the changes and is hindering me from enjoying the game. Id love some help or something to get me close to solving this problem.

I’m willing to bet it’s something with your disc or your Xbox 360’s optical drive (if other games behave odd as well).
