Out of curiousity, what is everybodies most memorable moment from any of the campaign levels? Mine would have to be a tie between:
-Humans and Sangheili teaming up at the end of H2
-The Didact descending from his cryptum. Awesome moment finally seeing a living forerunner in-game.

The beginning of Halo 3 always gets me. I love to say cortana’s line every time I play.
operation uppercut. it was the best visualization of hopelessness of fighting the covenant empire in 2552. throwing everything they had into Reach’s defense but were predictably overwhelmed by the sheer firepower and size of the Covenant offensive. It was this point you know you’re fighting a losing battle. The sight that was the sabre fighters, assisting UNSC frigate Savannah in combat, conducting a zero atmosphere boarding action and storming the bridge to set a path to a CSO Super carrier. thewhole thing was epic.
The one’s with that Locke guy in them. I heard he’s really cool.

Halo 3 Mission 4 when you destroy the canon and you have the badass cutscene, always gets me!
When the Cheif, Arbiter and Cortana are on Forward Unto Dawn, flying as fast as possible to the Ark’s portal before Installation 04B explodes and as the Chief nearly falls out of the ship he climbs up in front of Cortana as the halo ring fires. That is such a beautiful scene with the imagery and music, nearly brings me to tears. Fantastic.
- Combat Evolved: The Warthog run from “The Maw” is unforgettable.- Halo 2: I’d say either the Scarab scene from “Metropolis” or landing on Installation 05 in “Delta Halo”. Both offer a perfect blend of gameplay and Marty’s musical genius. I lean toward the latter, though, since “Peril” is my favorite piece from the Halo 2 soundtrack.- Halo 3: The push toward and through the Citadel in “The Covenant” really makes me feel like I’m bringing an end to the war.- Halo Wars: The counter-boarding action in “Repairs” is cool enough that it was kinda sorta recreated in Halo 4. It features some of the most spectacular scenery from any of the games.- ODST: “Prepare to Drop” is really more of a cutscene so I’d say landing in “Tayari Plaza” is probably my favorite sequence in actual gameplay.- Reach: Manning the Onager to let the Autumn escape Reach is stellar.- Halo 4: I literally felt my jaw drop the first time Mantle’s Approach emerged from slipspace in Earth’s orbit.- Spartan Assault: Grizzly beats everything.

Halo 2: Johnson’s tank scenes and the Gravemind.
Halo 3: The beginning with Cortana’s speech and Chief almost attacking the Arbiter, the scared Marine in Floodgate, , Chief with his Gravemind and Cortana visions in High Charity, Chief rescuing Cortana, Mendicant Bias’s legendary terminal, Guilty Spark’s freakout, the warthog run, the memorial service.
Halo 4: The Didact’s awakening, Cortana freaking out and calling Halsey a -Yoink- in a pitched voice, Cortana freaking out at Del Rio, Cortana dying, the Broadsword fight, Epilogue with badass speech.
Halo 4’s ending just because the Chief is so much bigger than everyone and it’s funny seeing how people look at him.
Halo 4 on the third mission when you escape in a Ghost and Cortana says:

Halo CE: Abandoning the Autumn and crash-landing onto Alpha Halo.
Halo 2: Dropping feet first onto Delta Halo with the ODSTs for the first time.
Halo 3: The Shadow of Intent appearing in Floodgate and saving the humans’ -Yoinks!-.
Halo 3 ODST: The atmosphere and feel of New Mombasa at night was incomparable.
Halo: Reach: The complexity and sustained intensity of Long Night of Solace.
Halo 4: surviving the Dawn’s crash and witnessing the moving majestic spires of the shield world on mission 2, Requiem.
