So I want to hear from the community, we got a lot of toys to play with since the end of June, what’s your favorite and least favorite vehicle to use?
At the moment, I’m a Scorpion tank extraordinaire, I’d say with the normal base tank I pull in on average 10-15 kills. On a good day, a ONI day, I can get up to the high 20s before getting blow up. The Scorpion was probably the only vehicle outside of the ghost and warthog that I was instantly familiarized with, due to my play time with it from the previous iterations. I’ve tried the Hannibal, and it damn sure makes everything else look obsolete, but any variant of the S-tank is good enough for me (except maybe the Woodland version…some reason that orange camo make people go crazy after me.)
My least favorite would have to be the Wraith and/or mon-gun-goose vehicles. Wraiths are incredibly easy for me to pick off, I consider my self a vehicle demolition specialist, but when driving one of these Wraiths, I’m better off floating off the map. I’ve tried to use it as a Scorpion, plunging holes in large entrances/choke points, but the range of the cannon and trajectory screw me up all the time…that and I never know when it’s a good time to boost/splatter with these bad boys.
As for what I am trying to get my skill up in are the Banshees. I’ve seen what Banshee pilots can do, and coming from BF4, struggling to master pitch and roll; the flight controls in H5 are noobishly easy, I just need to get my evade down. I’ve figured out the trick with the regular Banshee, flipping while firing speeds up the shot, which also semi-protects you from being boarded most times if you’ve come to close to the ground.
My biggest problem: I see those Spartans, I get too greedy and don’t strat out my attack, and barrel head first with any vehicle. Gotta be more patient, how bout ya’ll? Any favorite or dreaded vehicles on your list?
I’m pretty proficient with all vehicles. Driving hogs would have to be my weakest spot. I’m a much better gunner but don’t like how exposed the gunner is. So the regular hog is probably my least favorite. Favorite is the Wraith or Scorpion. I don’t get boarded much in the Wraith since I know how to time the boost to murder those silly spartans.
My favorite 2 which is a tie for the top are the hannible tank and the wasp. My least favorite is probably the mongoose. It’s such a waste of req space. It’s an iconic halo vehicle I know but it’s so useless aside from customs.

I used a damage boost/over shield combo with the gunner of a Hog and it’s like cutting through butter LoL
My favorites either have to be the ONI hog/gauss hog or the sword wraith. For the ONI hog I’m almost always driving my friends around and seeing those wheelmen pop up is just pure sweetness. The sword wraith for me is better than the ultra wraith, that thing has really weird hit detection for me and the armor upgrade doesn’t matter to me since if I’m getting shot a bunch in a wratih then I’m doing it wrong.
Favorite: Have to say it’s any of the Banshee variants or the Hannibal Scorpion.
Most hated: Mantis. Machine gun has a spread comparable to a paint sprayer, stomp is nearly useless, and the missiles are kinda meh.

i would have said the scouthog too but at least that offers some protection when you use it to charge through the enemies.
