I don’t want to doubt Frankie, because I love him. But don’t most people do the opposite? Play multiplayer and don’t ever finish/start campaign.
I remember reading that. It really is silly, and I don’t know how true it actually is. Most people I know are fairly apathetic about story. Why does he think Halo shifted so far away from campaign in recent years? It’s because Bungie understood for a game to have longevity it needed a solid, online multiplayer. People don’t buy CoD to play campaign.

Halo games sell millions of copies, but most of those millions dont play MM.
