Most H5 Pros play at 3-5 sens, Why does it seem...

they can aim so fast and spin around so quickly?
Why do kids think that playing on 7-10 sens means you must be godlike? Isn’t it a hindrance?

(as for where I’m getting these numbers from, their sens/button layout is posted on their twitch channels)

Higher sensitivity is more versatile. You can turn on someone shooting at you from behind much quicker. I play on 10 and I’ll tell you that it’s harder to keep your cross hair on a players head when in a duel, but keeping visibility and scanning the environment is much easier. Not sure about pros being fast on low sen but I guess that’s why they’re pro.

All of it has to do with map awareness and knowledge of the spawn locations and system. It’s easy when you know when someone is going be some place. It removes a lot of the guess work.

I’ve always played on 10. Once you get used to it and practice a ton you can keep your aim steady and have the advantage of quicker turning speed. I have never had a problem with my accuracy.

This is true.

But their sniping aim is so on point. How do people snipe above 9 sense is beyond me.

Low sensitivity with high acceleration allows you to have precise aim while still being able to turn at a decent pace.

I play on default. I can’t begin to tell you how they practice sniping. I am sure they pick it up as much as they possibly can to get use to it. Doesn’t hurt if you get to use the weapon every game you play.

My eyes would go crazy trying to focus on anything above 5!

I played call of duty on sen 10 or 20 on the newer ones. I wouldn’t dare to go higher than sen 4 on Halo. The only people who want to play on 7-10 are CoD players, they think Halo is just like every shooter, Halo is NOTHING like CoD.

Well, seeing how Halo is now a twitch shooter, compared to the original arena-styled games of the original trilogy, they are applying skills that they learned in Call of Duty to Halo 5. Also, Halo has bloom, CoD has bloom; Halo has microtransactions, CoD has microtransactions; Halo has ADS on all weapons, CoD has ADS on all weapons; Both games tout increased movement options, which include sprint, directional thrust, and (in AW and BLOPS III), an AOE attack. Halo 5 has more in common with Call of Duty than you may think. The only real thing I see that is different is that Halo has two levels of health, a regenerating shield and the normal health bar, compared to CoD’s one health bar. But I am just a bitter Halo player who is patiently awaiting the day that Halo makes a triumphant return to the original formula, that worked successfully for the original trilogy.

I didn’t mean game wise, i meant shooter wise. We all know Halo has to keep up with the top level shooters to compete and I personally love this new way Halo is evolving. But you can’t compare a CoD gunfight to a Halo gunfight, both are two absolutely different games. A lot of great Halo players are amazing at CoD but it’s not the other way around. No wonder that a lot of CoD pro’s used to be Halo pro’s.

I dont care what people say about sensitivity I play with it very low like on 2

If you play over 5 you’re only hurting yourself. If you need to be able to turn any faster you need to work on your spatial awarness and map positioning.

I don’t agree with that statement, that Halo has to change in order to compete with other games, but that is a different argument.

And I would agree with you, that firefights in Halo are different than in Call of Duty, had Halo 5 been less of a twitch shooter. Now, I’m not so sure; the Time to Kill has been shortened, making the game more twitchy. And to be fair, it doesn’t take much to be good in Call of Duty. Pick the best weapon, slap the best attachments on that weapon, pick the best perks and killstreaks, and then camp a spot, and you will be most definitely rack up a high kill count.

Also, good on you if you like the way that Halo is changing. I personally don’t like it, but if you like it, that’s fine.

I play on 5, steady shots while still being able to look fast by playing with deadzones

Sen 1 for me.

I drink too much beer to do that! lol

Your 37% Accuracy Stat says otherwise lol

I use sensitivity of 5, look acceleration of 3, and 0% deadzones.

That last one really does wonders! My controller is relatively new, so being able to change deadzones to 0% made it so much easier for me to be accurate. It’s absolutely insane. I was able to get Onyx in Team Arena as a result.

I haven’t ever had a moment where I felt that turning around quickly would help me. Map knowledge allows me to predict where enemies will be, so I snap to those locations when scanning the map. It’s not hard to do, and I can usually come out on top in a battle, unless the enemy has more skill than me. I’m no pro player, but I can hold my own in a firefight when I can concentrate on the game.

Lol halo 5 is not a twitch shooter. I can turn a fight on someone who attacked me first quite often. Also even though they have a lot of the same features, halo and cod don’t play anything alike.
