Most expensive "FREE" event ever

You get one set which wasn’t even the one they advertised for the event, add on the fact there’s over £1000 of cosmetic in this one season and people are annoyed from the lack of customisation they where promised

Day what you want, the game will evolve because of the consumers. So enjoy it, or don’t, you do you.

Hope insulting me has made you feel better.

Wow, you unlocked the dlc from gameplay. Now please pay £20 to open any door or use any of the gear

This analogy is pretty dang stupid, not gonna lie.

You point is still extremely flawed

No. Someone said you could just buy your way into the cosmetics without playing the game. I pointed out that for the event you still have to play the game before you can even apply any of these premium cosmetics.

Lol $15 for a sword you can only use on one armor set

What a joke.

Who said that?

I will indeed say what I want, and I say you shouldn’t be defending this. No one in their right mind would defend this unless they were either conditioned to, or paid to.

That’s the point. The game evolve according to trends, as CoD, Fortnite… now everythings paying.

So that’s a good thing as it means most gamers get what they want even if the few do not.

thats the worst reasoning I’'ve seen to date… just leave

So if you scroll up and follow along the reply chain that you inserted yourself into, you can see who I was responding to

No someone said “oh nice armour. How much” joking to how 90% of the cosmetic can simply be brought instead of earned like in previous halos and what 343 hinted at

Yeah and we’re specifically talking about the free event in this thread. Real quick. Glance up at the top of your screen. See that bit about “most expensive free event ever”? That’s what we’re talking about.

I will indeed say what I want.

Just because what the thread is title doesn’t mean people are just going to be talking about the event, where the game as a whole is sharing the issue, you are assuming the comment was about the event, but the comment made no direct mention about it, instead talking about customisation, seemingly as a whole.

There is more variety in the store than in this “free” event, lol.

That’s literally how topics are supposed to work. If I went into a thread about challenges and started talking about weapon balance suggestions, that would be a pretty stupid thing to do.

Yes, seeing as they aren’t related, but seeing as there’s nothing stopping you go ahead. However customisation and this topic are linked as they are talking about the same pricing issue and the lack of earning items.
If you went into a topic about challenges and talk about how weapon challenges are frustrating then that could lead to talking about the sandbox due to it being relevant to the point

No one in their right mind would defend this unless they were either conditioned to, or paid to.

Or someone like me that works in video games who has a better understanding of how these things work. Should it be a bit more free-user friendly? Probably. Is these the worse thing to happen since lootboxes? Nah.

That’s a broader conversation that I have no interest in talking about. You can derail all you want, but that initial reply that you commented on 30 posts ago is valid and relevant to the topic. You talking about Mark 7 armor has nothing to do with my original comment.

Then. . . Don’t talk about it? But others are ¯_(ツ)_/¯ oh the anarchy
