Most Epic Master Chief Moments

What was your favorite Master Chief moment from any of his games? For me it would be the bomb scene from Halo 2 or the back to back Chief and Arbiter scene in Halo 3 from when they were about to fight Gravemind and the flood.

I have to say when Johnson and Chief get to the ceremony at the start of Halo 2

You told me there wouldn’t be any cameras! - MC
and you told me you were ganna wear something nice - Johnson

Bromace ftw

this is just one when you get into high charity on halo 2 and the grunt looks an mc goes boo and it screams and runs the bomb one/ the ceremony,/ when Johnson dies / when halo 3 ending/ halo 4 ending

I like when he knifed that Elite in the throat at the Corbulo Military Academy when he was just 15 or 16. Then Lasky was all like “what do I call you?” and he was all like “Call me Master Chief” even though he wasn’t of that rank yet at the time; he was a Third Class Petty Officer … that’s how epic he is.

Then four years, ten months, and seven days after the end of Halo 3, he woke up, looked down at his forearms and thought “what the …?” because his armor was all different, but he didn’t say a word to Cortana … which was kinda odd cause I’m sure she thought he’d wake up and be all “oh, wow! Look how cool I look, thanks Cortana!” but he said nothing. When my grandma knitted me that sweater, I said “Thank you, grandma” I didn’t say “you’ve been busy”. Ice cold.

Okay, honestly, the scene with Dr. Tilson is beautifully written. The way he handles the depth of the situation and how he clearly understands her distress in losing years of research and her life’s work is what I think best sums up his character. He may be quiet, and a little awkward at times, I’m sure, but he’s certainly compassionate. Just imagine Sarah Palmer in that position; making threats, shouting “egghead” at the pleading doctor … maybe, I don’t know.

That may not be the most “epic” scene, but it’s great for character development. Better than nodding subtly at the Arbiter occasionally. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
