What was the craziest thing you guys have ever done in Halo - for better or for worse?
For me, I brought out an ONI Mantis in Warzone, managed to get some kills and so on. Then, someone tried to jack me. Immediately, I bailed out of my Mantis, let my hijacker bite the bait (they got inside my Mantis after I got out), and I hijacked them instead. Yes, I am willing to sacrifice a perfectly good Mantis to kill my enemies. And I managed to do this twice. How dramatically the tables have turned.

Craziest thing ever?
It was 978 to 650 in a Warzone match, I was on the losing team.
The enemy team was about to kill the Banshee Raider.
We had 3 bases, but the enemy team had about 4 snipers and 3 tanks guarding the core.
I grabbed a Light of Urs + Active Camouflage, sneaked in, and lit up their core, and we won.
Jumping out of a Banshee, killing one guy with a ground pound while his teammate tried to captue my Banshee, I killed him too and escape with my Banshee
Hijack an enemy scorpion,jump off and while jumping hijack an nearby wraith while being shooted by an Mantis and then hijack said Mantis.
Three great vehicles lost by on guy in less then 10 seconds,explain that.

I was in Warzone, playing on Apex 7. Most of my team were situated on the Spire. A enemy Wasp started to chew us apart. We started to shoot back at the Wasp until it was a burning wreck. I grabbed a Plasma Pistol, disabled it, then I proceeded to destroy it with a Ground Pound. I blew it up, without blowing myself up in the process.
But too bad I didn’t know how to record clips back then… =(
I was in Warzone firefight (don’t remember the name of the map) and it was a match with primarily Prometheans and one the rounds I ended up taking down a Knight and some crawlers on my own with just the ACOG AR with literally no help whatsoever. Especially considering 343 reworked the Knight to have fairly tricky weak points on their armor to hit.

Probably the time I spawned a scorpion, got jacked, spawned again with an Answer, found my tank (corp scorpions are easy to find lol), got the kid out, rekt him with the answer, then torched my scorpion. Nobody takes what’s mine.

Probably a mix of two for me, both from Reach, both BTB. Possibly not as good as others’ stories as I’ve only been playing for a few days. P.S. I am not a good player, I can only label these events as complete luck. Look at my damn K/D.
Team’s getting slaughtered. Wraith is spawnkilling us from just outside base, along with most of the enemy team. I head through a teleporter and come up behind most of their team. I jump onto the back of the Wraith, chuck a grenade in there and -Yoink-, assassinate an enemy whilst running away, then hijack a Falcon and splatter the pilot, (accidentally). Manage to make an escape before dying like a noob from fall damage. Needless to say, this sort of ruined the moment.
This one confused even me! Slayer match on Spire. I usually chill up top and try to avoid dying. I propel myself up using one of the grav cannons. I noticed a Falcon was flying directly into my zone and hijack the seat of one of the gunners. So, at this point I’m just sitting there amazed, telling my friend over the mic, not sure what to do with myself. The pilot brings the Falcon down for a landing. I jump out when we’re close to the ground, miraculously spin around to kill the other gunner, then manage to hijack the Falcon from the pilot. Unfortunately for him, he died from fall damage trying to get away.
So I was in a 1v1 game of Halo Wars (yeah, THAT game), and I was going against a player who was the lowest level you could have. You’d think I would’ve steamrolled him, but I got cautious. See, nowadays the people on Halo Wars are either genuine new players or alt accounts of high level players. You never know who’s who. Just to be safe, I rushed him (which is attacking with units like tanks and air and stuff like that before the other guy can build up. It’s really annoying. Don’t do it). I made a couple scorpions and attacked him. He had the exact same thing, and my tanks got rekt. So, I turtled him, and I turtled him HARD. This dude went all tanks and stuff like that, so I went with counters. This went on for an hour, no joke. After that, I messaged him basically telling him to give up because this couldn’t go on for much longer. That’s when he told me he was switching up his plan. Bad move, bro. This dude went all infantry, and in case you didn’t know, vehicles ALWAYS beat infantry in Halo Wars. It’s a rock-paper-scissors thing. I went counter infantry and vehicles and then destroyed this guy’s secondary base and army before destroying his main. Total game time was 1 hour 46 minutes. A middle-tier player vs a legit Recruit. If he sees this, I got one thing to say…Impressive.
Craziest thing I’ve ever done? I managed to beat Halo ODST on legendary. It was hard, I shouldn’t be alive, I had luck on my side I guess. Now I can see what they mean by Feet First Into Hell, it was brutal. All alone, at night on the streets of New Mombasa, ODST’s are never fearless, but being all alone, no friendlies, facing wave after wave of covenant forces in the dark only relying on my wits and training to survive. The best moment was finally rendezvousing with my squad. That was the craziest thing I’ve ever done, going feet first into the hellish streets of New Mombasa.
