Most annoying aspect of Halo 4 so far?

Will it be…

  1. The text spamming that will appear above the reticle when you get a kill?
  2. The over abundance of medals?
  3. The overuse of Jeff Steitzer announcing things?

This short clip should be enough to show how much these things are unneeded. At 0:42 the player gets a simple kill, yet “Comeback Kill” and “Headcase” are announced. Above the reticle, Combeback Kill, Headcase, Revenge, and Avenger are all flashed. And at 1:37 “Protect your flag” is announced. Really? Well the clip didn’t show too many medals, but judging by the list of new medals they will for sure flood the screen.

I also would rather hear the “Flag Taken, Flag Dropped” rather than “Carrier Kill” and that. Oh and one more thing, Jeff Steitzer compared to what he sounded like in Halo CE is disgraceful.

Yeah, none of the stuff that you said is annoying to me. The things I’m slightly worried about are PP starts and auto-flag pick up. That’s really it, though.

The most annoying part is you get medals for everything, i want medals for doing something special and not everything i do, but thats a minor complain.

For me this thing is jeff overdoing it. They wont fix it either because they already paid jeff for the voice clips. I can see it being a problem when the game releases.

I’d have to say the most annoying part is the number of threads about flag carrying that have popped up because of it.

Thank you. Yes, it’s unfortunate how he announces so often. It’s even laughable how he sounds compared to what he did in the earlier Halos.

Other than the uber excited announcer spamming, the only thing that worries me is that it’s not out.

No, I just don’t complain about stuff that wont change anything, like some people.

“Omg we get soo many medals!!! This is so game changing I can’t even play, I’m just going to sell the game!”

I was actually thinking the same thing. I’m not too annoyed with anything so far, except for the locked flag, but the amount of complaining and pessimism from the hardcore competitive community is getting wearisome.
